06/3/2008 09:30 | This is nice. | 7kiwi
06/3/2008 09:28 | Stegrego, me and you both!! Keep the faith! | red river 1
06/3/2008 08:51 | Up 16p this morning:-) | 5dally
06/3/2008 08:30 | Go IVK! Only another 100% or so rise and im back to break even :) | stegrego
06/3/2008 07:42 | We are still well-below A$4.30 fund raising. In a normal market, share price should be at least at 20% premium to fund raising rate. So anything less than A$5.00 per share is not that exciting. Having said that since fund raising copper prices are 30% higher so perhaps a share price of A$6.50 is more reasonable. | nghomi
06/3/2008 06:49 | Up again in Aus, does anyone know if RAB have been forced sellers over the past few months. | pec2004
05/3/2008 20:56 | Hearing rumours regarding news from the copper project in Chile, may explain the recent rise. If true, think we'll see quite a bit more. | pec2004
05/3/2008 20:07 | Back to TNQ, I think they owe IVK £2.8m which should be paid back (+interest) to IVK by June 2008. £1.3m are excerciable at 25p and the remaining £1.5m is excercisable at 50p. At 50p per share, its market cap would be approximately £11.5. So TNQ raises some £10m at 50p we could have a market cap of £21.5m which we would still have another 50% upside. At copper prices of $4/lb, I would not rule out the possibility of 75p per share in two years time. But I agree with SteMiS that it is highly depending on what IVK want it to be worth! | nghomi
05/3/2008 18:24 | Just noticed that Nickel prices are back to $15/lb and copper is approaching $4/lb. How many people would think that IVK would hit the all-time high share price of 370p by May? | nghomi
05/3/2008 18:07 | yes sorry tqn do own 51%,but ivk own so much of tqn !-o.t-ng-if you want a good punt try kys-very interesting with nickel sulphides in the mix-huge upside if it all comes off | strow
05/3/2008 17:31 | I've attempted to update the header but to be honest its a bit of a nightmare; IVK seem to buy shares in TMC/TQN/UEP without notifying the stock market. It even looks like UEP have issued new shares without notifying the stock market. Nghomi is right. TQN own 51% of Puquios. Their market cap of £4.1m looks small compared to their £37.5m share of project npv. However where are TQN going to get their equity share of the £17.5m capital. They already owe IVK at least £1.8m. I guess TQN will be worth what IVK want it to be worth. | stemis
05/3/2008 16:23 | The Company increased its interest in the Puquios Copper Project to 93.3% through increasing its holding in Tarquin Resources plc from 32.57% to 86.84%. The Company acquired an interest of 43.6% of Tarquin through issuing 1,166,987 ordinary shares with a fair value of $5,134,742 and acquired an interest of 10.67% of Tarquin through acquiring shares on- and off-market at a cost of $1,060,876. | kimboy2
05/3/2008 16:12 | I beleive TNQ still own 51% of the project. So you are talking about £37.5m of npv | nghomi
05/3/2008 14:59 | What percentage of the project do tqn now hold? ?less than 10%?wouldnt go for it myself 10% of npv even of $150m is only $15m/£7.5m - m/c of tqn is £4m-much better places to put your money i would have thought | strow
05/3/2008 14:31 | I am tempted to buy into TQN. From chart point of view, it seems it doubled last year around this time. I cannot see it goes lower than 25p on bid because IVK is fully supporting this level. When the environmental approval annouced I reckon TQN could go back to 50p. Anybody has any view on this? Thanks | nghomi

04/3/2008 20:46 | TMC shippin gseems to have slowed to a trickle, so ernings not keeping up with surge in Ni price. But hte rise should make the lateriates more economic, so should have better results selling on to spot mkt. | 7kiwi
04/3/2008 20:29 | Why is that IVK is always underperforming? Nickel is up 9.7% (as I am typing this:) while IVK was up only 9% today! | nghomi
04/3/2008 17:41 | Thanks HB. So are we sort on the right hand side of a cup before a cup and handle? | 7kiwi
04/3/2008 17:10 | Are you any relation to Trader Horne who I happen to have on filter ? | kimboy2
04/3/2008 16:39 | What's your target hb? | 7kiwi
04/3/2008 15:26 | What's going on, IVK in an uptrend? For the first time in months, it's not even possible to buy 5k shares online. And now we have horneblower posting here. Not sure I can take much more of this! ;-) | madmix |
