TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

The Board of Investors Capital Trust plc announces that on 10 January 2017 the Company purchased 400,000 A shares at a price of 97.5p per A share to be held in treasury.

Following this transaction the Company's issued share capital consists of 102,067,144 A shares and 32,076,703 B shares, of which 14,039,000 A shares and 850,000 B shares are held in treasury. Therefore the total number of shares with voting rights in Investors Capital Trust plc is 88,028,144 A shares and 31,226,703 B shares.

The above figures (88,028,144 A shares and 31,226,703 B shares) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Investors Capital Trust plc under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
