Don't think Chairman's an issue, wad. "Key man" is CEO Adrian Ringrose who has driven the growth of the company. It might upset the applecart if he went, but he is still a surprisingly young man.

600p yes. PE of 12 would take us back over 700p, which would hardly be a stretch given growth prospects still seem realistically pretty good.

We have had this drop just before results day with IRV before. To date it has never been followed by anything other than good results.

That might have been well timed. I don't like to see a sharp drop on pre-results day in case there has been a leak , but I feel confident there will be no nasty surprises tomorrow. Holding , and might even pick up some more if it weakens early in the irrational way a few results have done elsewhere recently.

Following recent purchases of IRV I offloaded half my holding at 577.36 0n 18th Feb and prior to results, just as a hedge. This does reduce potential gains but I like to play safe and do buying and selling in tranches. I've found that this method invariably works to my advantage as picking absolute tops and bottoms is not easy. The results will most probably be good but let's not forget that is mostly now in the already rallied price.

Today's finish above 590 confirms the irrationality of last months share price weakness. It seems completely opaque to me why this company is now worth 18% more than 4 weeks ago . Happy to profit from it though!

I see that my limit didn't trigger despite other trades selling at higher prices. This is the 2nd time it has happened on the new Selftrade platform which changed to Equiniti 2 weeks ago. Anyone else had this problem ?

Over the many years I have held shares in this company (going back to before the Interserve time to the R.M.Douglas Construction days) I have always seen the beginning of the year/ end of previous year dip, followed by the rise up to the annual results. If you want to make money buying and selling shares it is more or less a banker.

The analysts always seem better at predicting profits than predicting share price moves. I do like his EPS forecast of 63p for 2015. If that is correct , then this is an impressively low share price
Mind you doesn't look like it is staying down this morning ; up 20p . Tempts me to take some quick profits on one of last months buys... 561 limit set for 12% in 3 weeks. That'll do.
