"Shares in Stanley Gibbons are currently down a further 33% at around 43p – and we apologise deeply for having called this so wrong recently. However, with still a vast stockholding of rare collectibles and noting that “the board intends that the fundraising will be executed in a manner that recognises the pre-emption rights of existing shareholders insofar as is possible and will make a further announcement regarding the fundraising next week”, for now our stance remains hold. We believe that asset backing will - in due course - reverse our fortunes. Time will tell."

"It WILL fold guaranteed..It's nicely following Globo !!! You have been warned"

Doesn't look like its folding or following globo to me. As I understand it Toscafund are buying this company at 180p per share.

Are you really that thick? LOL.

accrilium - please not on my behalf, I already have a problem identifying whom I am without you confusing the matter.

But given the state you have got yourself into over my INTQ short and assumptions made I thought I would give you a clue on this one. It is a little misleading though because I was already short ahead of the price I picked AVN as a short. Oh, and it had nothing to do with TW/SP.

"You don't short because you cant read a balance sheet."

The reason that I don't short is that it's a practice that holds unnecessary risks and is morally dubious to say the least. Your comment about not been able to read a balance sheet made me laugh. It's not me who slavishly relies on reports by others to make decisions. All my decisions are based on my own research and the balance sheet is the first place I look when I'm considering a conviction buy. I ignore all noise and bluster here and everywhere else. Secondly, please read the following:-

I'm not sure why you keep trying to justify elrico, unless it's just another of your user names? The facts as I keep stating are that anybody short at 50p when this was picked by shareprophets as a short to 1 drachma got at best a very nasty dent in their profits, but I suspect most got a good kicking.

elrico can claim a small profit if he wishes, he just got lucky on this occasion, if indeed he made a profit, we just have the word (unreliable) of an anonymous BB poster.

On that note, I'll leave you to your day trading.

How many times can you be proved wrong?

~I will state again, I don't have an open position, I was stopped out with a small profit. I would not be short now and accept I may have been foolish and lucky to put my stop where it was given the dodgy trading pattern this past week or so~.

so he was out before 3rd feb when the share price was about 80p and before both spikes. I have no clue where his short opened but its safe to conclude his version of profit is closer to your version. and he was right there was limited upside 180p far short of its 2015 peak.

You don't short because you cant read a balance sheet. Sell avn and recoup your loss. or you going to say you bought at the bottom.
Bored of you already you lair.

I have no sympathy for any idiot who goes short using borrowed money. It went badly wrong for you. Keep spouting your nonsense. I've had my fun for today.

"Given the sudden news announcements however, any trailing orders would not have been executed at these times."

Just to repeat what I said above. Whether you made 45% or retained 45% of your profit, I don't really care. Neither does anybody else since you could pluck any figure you wish out the air. A trailing order simply would not have been executed.

As I keep saying, stop following your pal like a mindless little lapdog.

Oh dear, more examples of limited research, Half-truths michaelmouse. I am not here to defend TW but again you are being selective and a simple search of the share price site will quickly show you for the deceiver you are. Now let me put you right on a point of what I actually said and not what you report I have said...do you think people cannot read. I stated "I was lucky to get out with 45% of my profit intact" I DID NOT SAY I MADE A PROFIT OF 45%. Another example of deception or stupidity....both perhaps. Now let me explain so even you can understand;
Let us assume I was sat on a profit of £100 and the share price moved against me and lost £55 this would leave me with £45 equal to 45% being £55 and £45 = £100. You do understand this is hypotheticals and only the percentage matters!!

Simple math indeed...I have a bloddy stitch now!!

Again, you are focussed on price action sub 180p when historical prices were much higher and I put it to you that MOST investors would have been long above 180p and that is not good for those. Ignore this by all mean as its not important it merely underlines your folly.

most investors have taken a hit on this pos pretending otherwise is pathetic. These were nearer 400p a year ago.

Sparky - Highlight my lies?

INTQ were trading 360p+ 11 months ago, so some PI's are taking a 50% hit. If that is success in your book, what can I say. I asked a simple question to a simple truth (lie as you say) but you refused to answer.

Your evidence for me lying and costing a lot of investors a lot of money, is right up there with Akazoo converting more premium accounts than both deezer and spotify.

Now all you need is MONI & GKP to pull a rabit out of the hat. Give TOSCA bell.

Hi I've just come across this excellent tipster on the following site. The article was written when the shares were about 50p I believe.

The tipster concerned appears to be suggesting that this is shorted down to 1 drachma:-

He appears to be an expert, and I was just wandering if it's possible to short this one down to zero? Can you recommend a broker?

I'd guess today's cash offer of £1.80 for the entire issued share capital (50% above the float price?) is another elaborate fraud isn't it?

Thanks in advance. ;)
