16/3/2011 16:01 | "need to go higher to break this downward trend". Err, yes. I might get my 270p re-entry point soon at this rate.Market sentiment is so illogical. | wad collector
09/3/2011 11:53 | Nice rise today but needs to go higher to break this downward trend imo. Come on IPF! | simon42
04/3/2011 20:43 | Good final results IMO. Numis target 437p. Business going well and 2011 expected to get stronger. Apparently middle east unrest and general concerns over global wealth growth holding these back. Mad thing is, IPF don't have any business in the middle east. Chart trending down still and support at 300p but I can't see IPF staying in the doldrums forever! | simon42
28/2/2011 14:58 | Update on Weds 3rd March I think. | simon42
25/1/2011 11:18 | I'm still looking for my 270p re-entry target.looked unlikely a month ago, but a distinct possibility now. | wad collector
13/12/2010 09:08 | Market seems to like this morning's Trading Statement. | m.t.glass
07/12/2010 10:18 | Nice to see, but where's the confidence coming from? | jacks13
07/12/2010 08:14 | Strong start to the week yesterday, and off to a good start today again. | m.t.glass
26/11/2010 14:08 | Thanks wad, intuitively you know that they'll get hammered, along with everything else. The issue of Polish bonds quite recently does mean that they have secured cash, which means they can carry on lending, assuming they haven't parked the money in Greek, Irish, Portugese etc gilts that is! A drop to 200p or lower is on the cards if things turn nasty and Spain needs to take a bail out. Trouble is the Euro emergency fund isn't big enough to rescue all the PIIGS, thats why they are strongarming Portugal to take the medicine hoping they can limit the contagion to just Greece, Ireland and Portugal. I'm still in at the moment, got a bit complacent with the strong recent rise. | jacks13
26/11/2010 10:31 | I suspect that a currency crisis would hit the whole sector indiscriminantly , even if IPF was in a more secure position.Logic only goes so far in the market .And how secure would the funding be if some Banks start collapsing (Again). But I'm no accountant. I'm still out , but looking to re-enter,but not at this price.250p would tempt me back in as things stand. | wad collector
18/11/2010 17:49 | Given that IPF now have secure funding in place for the next three years how would a near-term sovereign debt crisis (PIIGS) in the eurozone impact the company? Would it help to grow revenue/earnings as IPF would be a source of increasingly scarce personal credit or would the demand for loans dry up. Anyone got an analysis to offer? | jacks13
18/11/2010 17:00 | From this afternoon's funding announcement: ... This provides sufficient funding to support planned growth in existing and new markets through to 2013. Commenting, David Broadbent, Group Finance Director, said: "We are very pleased to complete our objective of diversifying our sources of funding and extending the maturity of our debt facilities. This bank transaction, coupled with the bonds issued earlier this year, means that we have sufficient funding to support the excellent opportunities that IPF has for growth in both existing and new markets". | m.t.glass
08/11/2010 08:33 | Sell and regret. | wad collector
26/10/2010 10:10 | Despite those broker recommendations I am getting nervous about the recent rise.It is no longer a high yielding share at these prices and I hate watching gains disappear again if the market is going to fall away again.I shall sell the rest of my holding but look to buy back into weakness.Limit sell on 326 just set. | wad collector

13/10/2010 12:26 | Ooh , stormed up to 308.I am close to a 4 bagger here on half my holding ; think I will hit the sell button for that bit. 307.3p- that'll do.I might buy back if it drops back fast, though the yield here is becoming unimpressive.
