well ....2013 IC TIPS more positive than losers at the end of the year

Best just to use as a contributor to a decision rather than the primary reason to invest

Yes I exited on 2nd after my target was hit. To be honest expected it to go sideways and not down. So if it gets anywhere near 400 to 440 again I may reenter.

Among other movers on Monday, shares of International Personal Finance PLC jumped 7.7% after Numis reportedly upgraded shares to buy after putting them on review last week, according to Bloomberg. IPC reported last week that Polish authorities fined its local unit 2.4 million pounds ($3.9 million).

There we go 500p. That wasn't too hard. Can see it going now to 525 to 550p over next couple of trading sessions before starting too settle. That's my prediction anyway.

ps: minimum deal size £5k. anything less isn't worth it given spread and dealing costs.

ditto. don't forget the market will continue to throw up such opportunities for the next 100+ years. I am gutted that I sold so many shares too early but (secretly glad) I held on to the winners. as always: refine your strategy and keep to it until it starts to fall apart. my strategy (fwiw) is to have -15% stop loss, play the momentum stocks and recognise a loss as soon as possible. this enables you to stay in the game. ps: a top ranking fund manager struggles to make 10% per year. this should be your goal and if you beat it you are exceptional. all the best.

Its up 20% from the low and your up around £400? If your trading that small you must getting killed on dealing costs normally?

This price drop was a great Xmas gift. Currently have enough profit for a new TV, up a bit more, bags a Playstation 4 as well, then I'll sell :-)

Shorters smell blood and can falsely bring price down to the extreme as momentum downward builds, but 8%+ turnaround today shows them the exit.... they'll find something else to circle around!!
