14/11/2016 16:12 | I agree it's quite hard to tell what they're actually earning from. e.g. licensing or other avenues. They seem to tweet 'random' projects now and again which don't seem to have direct IEH involvement but maybe they are inferring involvement? They've definitely become more focussed on the bottom line and trimmed a lot of the fat, as mentioned before I think they've got 15-18 months worth of money. | filster
14/11/2016 15:33 | and but how many of these companies are using any of IEH's patents? How likely is that out of the .... how many is it now? Well over a thousand patents? ... the none of them are being used by anyone except IEH? What about the Apple collaboration? ..... I think that with the share price at this level a cash rich company might want to buy IEH to get its hands on the patent portfolio ... just like ... who was it? VW did with Ballard? ... Ballard didn't sell all their patents but it seems VW bought the ones it was mainly planning on using ..... and maybe we'll hear soon about to which uses the culmination of the EU funded HFC for cars project are put ... | dean windass
14/11/2016 15:27 | It's getting closer to the UK !!!!! | dean windass
14/11/2016 15:23 | It'll be interesting to see what sacking 200 employees did for the figures. It was THAT news which caused the spike earlier in the year wasn't it? If they have cut jobs and mothballed projects that were not earning money or where the income stream wasn't exciting enough and are now chasing the dosh, it could be an interesting few months ahead ..... it's a bit irritating all the secretive deals they have stop them releasing RNS that might reveal where partners are with their own products and I suppose even in the figures the co-operations that are producing revenue may not be identified ... though, and I've said this before, some companies are so profligate with empty RNS you can be sure IEH are not leaving themselves open to criticism for raising hopes where there are none. I would love to know what their income from patent licencing is. I suppose i could research that amongst last years results but does anyone have any idea? How many people making HFCs are paying royalties to IEH for using their membrane technology? | dean windass
14/11/2016 14:06 | Annual Results were due out in the middle of this month, so this week or the beginning of next week. | filster
14/11/2016 13:48 | Dunno why the share price is bobbing around ... I presume it's at its bottom range and people top up when it's fallen by about 6% driving it up again. When are the annual results out? Soon isn't it? Remember all firms in the hydrogen business fare better with a stronger oil price which is predicted to rise over the next few years (for what that's worth). Some governments will push the envelope (like UK) polluting the air as long as they can if oil is cheap but when oil gets pricey and hydrogen power is more cost effective, they can dump oil consuming powers, adopt hydrogen at less cost or even saving money and claim they're "leading the Green revolution". In the UK's case, that's patently rubbish as they'd rather we died breathing rubbish air than inflict damage on oil companies whose dividends enrich the already desperate state of the UK pensions industry. Shell were recently blasted by analysts for paying dividends now that depend on Shell's future profits ...... so next years' profits have already been dipped into to try and prop up Shell's share price .... as most IIs own Shell shares for the dividends. If the dividends go down, the shares are sold, share price falls .... management lose out on their bonuses paid in shares etc. The world is changing and eventually there will come a tipping point where the UK either gets onboard and decides it wants a piece of the hydrogen action. Post Brexit, the UK may not be obliged to put contracts up for tender to EU firms and can just award them to whichever British firm is going to return part of the contract as taxes on profits. Sorry I've been quiet for a while ... been driving for days on end and away from wifi. Just too busy. Still heavily invested in here and figure the directors' buys earlier in the year were not a result of the BOD trying to lose money. | dean windass

08/11/2016 12:05 | COURT RULING TOMORROW ClientEarth defeated the government in the supreme court in 2015 but argues that even the new plan prompted by the defeat is still illegal. The judgment from the new challenge is expected in the high court on Wednesday morning. In October, it was revealed that George Osborne, then chancellor, had blocked moves to charge diesel cars for entering cities due to worries over cost and alienating drivers. In April, a cross-party committee of MPs said air pollution in the UK was a “public health emergency”. Traffic is the major cause of air pollution in cities, with diesel vehicles especially dirty. Paris is already taking steps to phase out diesels, as are cities across Germany. “Air pollution in London is at lethal levels,” said Laurie Laybourn-Langton, one of the IPPR report authors. “Bringing these levels down will save lives and make the capital more pleasant and prosperous for all Londoners. This won’t be easy and so our plan includes a number of measures that reduce the cost to Londoners of cleaning up transport.” | ibug

08/11/2016 09:23 | #ukdroneshow... UK Drone Show 2016 3 - 4 December 2016 NEC, Birmingham Tickets from £12 The UK Drone Show flies back to the NEC in December 2016 The UK Drone Show is Europe’s largest and most exciting gathering of drone, camera and smart technology all under one roof. New features have been added to the show this year including the amazing Drone Racing iSeries, the UK's very first fully digital FPV drone race, the RC Car zone and the very latest in smart technology and home robots. Technology giant Panasonic is sponsoring the event for a second year, joined for 2016 by drone industry leaders DJI and Parrot. With a wide range of exhibitors including the country’s leading retailers and independent specialists, the UK Drone Show is a must for the drone and technology loving community. Let's hope that IEH are there in force (and they don't crash their drone like they did at the Analyst and Investor Day...!!). Annual Statement should be out this week or next week. | filster
07/11/2016 11:18 | There are plenty of opportunities in the H2 transport space; but likely niche markets will be Drone HFC's and H2 powered smart phones. | ibug
07/11/2016 11:02 | tommy Itis surely highly relevant that a competing Swedish outfit also with a stack of 100Kw has beaten IEH to the draw over such a prestigious client. The Swiss Coop has been a bell wether in Central Europe over 50years, always setting the tone for management innovation and testing the introduction of new technology. IEH have had the misfortune to lose a critical client here. | scrutable
07/11/2016 10:00 | Good point Tommy. | rickyvader |
