Sid,

Based purely on the ceiling the share price hit before settling down. Nothing other than speculation on my part. We shall see....

Hi DL,

Where do you get the 77p price from, who in the City thinks this, or more exactly just how firm is this pricing speculation.

I was convinced for a couple of months that there was someone accumulating these behind the scenes, all the signs were there. It's hardly surprising that a bid has emerged given the level of the share price relative to the value of the company.

Ok, city seems to think the potential offer is around 77p then. Seems quite plausible - would like a bit more though!

Intec Telecom Systems plc

Response to share price movement

In view of today's share price movement, the Board of Intec Telecom Systems plc ("Intec" or the "Company") confirms that it is in highly preliminary discussions with a third party which may or may not lead to an offer for the Company.

Discussions are at a very early stage and as such there can be no certainty as to whether any offer will be forthcoming nor as to the level at which any offer might be made.

A further announcement will be made in due course.

If way undervalued, as I would agree, then is there perchance a sniff of a bid causing this share price action?

Brokers like the stock and little wonder a EPS increase of 22.5% and a lowly P/E of just 13.2 forecast for 2011..... way undervalued IMO.

Even the forecast NAV is bhigher than the present market share price

Another stock to have a gander at Intech Telecolm Systems ITL.

Got to get through resistance first as shown on chart and then we could have lift off as we hit the GAP formed in April.

Had a very good day friday and looks like we have some strong momentum chasing.

impossible to tell, but always convinced these were over sold in April and since. Bid would be nice, but only at a fair price, too many companies being taken out too cheaply at the moment - eg tfc.
