thats the risk you take with these small caps.

Basicly what they are saying today is there will be nothing for ord holders in any takeover so they want to reorganise it so there is something in it for them

thats my take anyway

sometimes i wonder what i am doing buying small cap shares..As far as i can gather this is going to be consolidated at a 6:1 ratio..The same happened with another company (sty)..waste of time the whole thing.I am glad i only stuck a few hundred in this.I will hold the load & see the outcome - good luck.

my opinion is
by conversion, both pre and ord share holder sharing the risk and profit
so it has advantage and disadvantages.

Thanks, but no inspired comments, IMHO

My view of the situation is that the company has said that the shares were mispriced. Old Ords were trading at 11.5 when they should have been zero. Prefs were at 41.5 (which was too low). After the reorganisation, ords get improved value (>0) and prefs get less than theoretical maximum but more than 41.5p.

Is everybody still in bed? It's far too quiet here.

new share will be trading around 60p end of this month

if ord share price is 10p,
the new market price of ingg is then around 60m, still cheap imo

I predict the prefs will be above 60p by the end of today. Lets assume there is some selling pressure as people sell ords to buy prefs. I think ords will (temporarily) drop to 8p and so prefs should rise to 9 times this (72p). However, it won't all happen immediately.

It's obviously a done deal, because they have large shareholder agreement.

so 1 pre to 7 ord
and 1 ord is still 1 ord
7:1 ratio, which is better than 10:1
but still difficult to work it out how much it worth
the company think the share price is undervalued, and the offer they have received is low
so the chance to get a decent offer is small

I think this is actually good for ords. Previously the prefs took the first £1 of valued and the ords got the rest (nothing?). Now the prefs get 7 times as much as the ords. This must be better for the ords.

Deferred shares are worthless.

if the ords are undervalued, the prefs must be very undervalued. Just bought a few more.

the company think the ord share price is undervalued.
however, how does it work when they convert one ord share into one new ord and one deferred share?

qipincha

sooo, how can we trade these deferred shares???

7 shares for every pref! This could mean that prefs jump to about 70p. However, ords might drop because they will only hold 10% and prefs 90%. Should be good for prefs though.

Positive update but they still seem intent on selling with this capital reorganisation.Wonder how the market will view it?

ouch - that's not a nice thing to look at in my portfolio, wondering how long I can watch this go down. I'm in at MUCH lower levels but even so... Lots of companies touching 50 mva but could this be smashed tomorrow? One things for sure, I'm in cash more than equities at present. Wished I'd waited to top up now :(
