Innovision Research & Technology plc
('Innovision')

Innovision is pleased to announce that it is the provider of Topaz NFC Type 1
tags to the recently announced Parrot Party Black Edition wireless speakers.
Parrot, a global leader in wireless mobile telephone accessories based in France ( ), believe this is the first commercialised speaker system to integrate Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. All the consumer needs to do is touch their NFC mobile phone to the Parrot Party speakers to set up the Bluetooth connection and instantly play music out of the speakers. The NFC tag built into the speaker performs the pairing automatically, removing the need to go through pairing menus, particularly useful if there are a number of Bluetooth devices in range.

David Wollen, Chief Executive, commented 'We see this as another important step
in the adoption of NFC technology within mainstream consumer products and
applications. Based on our product portfolio and roadmaps Innovision is well
placed to provide technology in this area.'

Near Field Communication (NFC) is a standards-based, short-range wireless connectivity technology that enables simple and safe two-way interactions among electronic devices. NFC technology allows consumers to perform contactless transactions, access digital content and connect devices with the simplicity of a single touch. NFC technology provides global interoperability of contactless identification and interconnection technologies.

"All of us at the NFC Forum are impressed by both the number of submissions we received and the quality of the solutions," said Gerhard Romen, NFC Forum vice-chairman. "Our finalists demonstrate that NFC technology is not only bringing new capabilities to existing applications, but also enabling a whole array of new and innovative solutions across many vertical markets."

The competition promotes the development and deployment of innovative and exemplary NFC services. The Commercial Track is for NFC services based on a business case; the Research Track is for university students and Research institutions. Both Tracks require a prototype.

Commercial Track entries are evaluated on how successfully and innovatively their solutions meet the needs of key vertical market segments, as well as quality of design and implementation. Research Track submissions are judged on creativity and innovativeness. Each team of finalists will deliver a presentation and live demonstration at the NFC Developers Summit, held in Monaco, during the WIMA NFC Developers Summit (www.wima.mc), on April 29, 2008. The jury, composed of senior and recognized professionals and experts from academia and sponsoring companies will vote to select first-, second- and third-place winners for each Track. At WIMA, winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on April 29; a press conference will be held on April 30.

Further details about the competition can be found at www.nfc-forum.org/competition.

Gold sponsors of the competition are NFC Forum members Nokia, Over-C and SCM Microsystems. Silver sponsors are NFC Forum members Inside Contactless, Innovision Research & Technology plc, Stollman E+V GmbH and WIMA.

Questions about the competition may be sent to competition@nfc-forum.org.

"Development income represents the progress made towards
completing customers' royalty generating products and is the company's highest
ever 6-month figure. These products should come to market over the next 2-3
years and generate additional royalty streams at that stage. Revenue derived
from royalty and licence fees reduced to #0.4m (2006: #0.9m) due to the one-off
nature of licences benefiting the first half of 2006. Product sales were #0.1m
(2006: #0.3m) with no Christmas-based toy product this year."

So, product sales were virtually nil. They burned £700K in the half - but have plenty of cash following the placing. They are pleased with the development income raised - on products not expected to sell for another 2-3 years...............

Nuff said really.

Perhaps value at closer to 15p?
