On 4th Sept TIG left a small gap at 20p. so a fall to 20p is on the cards.

Or 19.88p to close it.

I think we are going to have to wait a little longer for any sort of rally.

You probably don't know , But if you get an Inverted H/Shoulders pattern of any

kind, and it has 1, 2, or 3 shoulders it has to have the same on the other side,

TIG has 3 left shoulders, we are in the process of going down to make No 2,

when we have 3 it will start going up.

Could be a move up to 22.5p.

Then it hits a trend line.

STILL POSITIVE.

It's more likely to be share option bonuses being awarded rather than the directors actually dipping their hands into their pockets, but assuming they are performance related, then it's still very positive.

Another director buy - regardless what the chart says - a director using his own money is a rare occurence - generally they wait for options.
Is there something cooking.

My group of (9) technical indicators suggest TIG's share price is about due for improving fortunes. However, as TIG has previously proved its ability to stay stubbornly range bound (20 +/-2) for more than a year I wouldnt bet the bank on it making the break this time either. Still, best of luck to all battlers. PIM

Nice positive statement released today :-

The Innovation Group plc

("Innovation" or the "Group")

Interim Management Statement

The Innovation Group plc (LSE: TIG.L), a global provider of business process services and software solutions to the insurance, fleet, automotive and property industries, today publishes its Interim Management Statement for the period from 1 April 2012 to date, in accordance with DTR 4.3 of the FSA Handbook.

The Board is pleased to report that, despite current economic and unfavourable weather conditions trading has continued positively in the period under review, building on the strong performance delivered by the Group in the first half of the financial year. The Group continues to generate good levels of cash from its operations, and the conversion rate of EBITDA to operating cash flow remains strong.

Progress with our Insurer software suite during the year has been good, with orders received in the UK, Australia and USA for the Insurer suite and individual products. Insurer version 7.2 has been successfully implemented with Real Insurance, an Australian based mid tier insurer and part of the Hollard Group. This is the first implementation of the new version of Insurer in Australia, utilising the Group's capabilities for motor and property.

The Board is pleased to announce that Innovation has signed a full and final settlement, at no further cash cost to the Group, with Allstate Insurance Company of Canada ('Allstate') in respect of all outstanding litigation by Allstate against Innovation and Innovation Canada.

The Board is confident that the Group's performance remains on track to meet its expectations for the current financial year.

Hedge Funds Capitulate on European Shorts

By Alexis Xydias - Aug 13, 2012 4:03 PM GMT+0700

Hedge funds that base investment decisions on economic trends are unwinding bets against European stocks (SXXP) at the fastest pace in three years, speculating policy makers will step up the fight against the debt crisis.

The degree by which macro funds are trailing the Euro Stoxx 50 Index (SX5E) is narrowing at the fastest rate since 2009, a sign managers are covering short sales by buying shares, according to data compiled by Bloomberg and JPMorgan Chase & Co. The proportion of shares on loan in the Stoxx Europe 600 Index, an indication of short interest, has fallen to 2.9 percent from 3.4 percent in May, data from London-based Markit show
