Another buy order set for 625 - this stock ticks most the boxes in my list.

Looks like a buy opportunity to me - added at 654. Brokers talk out of their fissures a lot of the time!

Groan , not so good news- if you believe it-

"We downgrade ISAT to Underperform and cut our TP by 8%. We believe expectations for Global X are too optimistic as it will have to compete with many HTS systems"...."Overall, we no longer recommend active exposure to the satellite industry." citing over supply issues

FWIW, I personally don´t agree with them, as I tend to feel that the so called experts need to scribble something to show the company that they are doing their job. Nevertheless the statement itself gives a more mixed picture to the future.

It´s worth a read anyway, regardless of whether you agree or disagree, although I don´t understand why it´s focused solely on ISAT as it seems they are stating it as industry problem rather than a company specific one.

For their full explanation go to the 11.50 mark

Grateful for your news input... please keep it up.

Some will have sold on the spike.... let's see where the DISH business takes us over the next few weeks....

@eipgam and Hyden.

Glad to help, although it´s a shame this news hasn´t moved the share price up a bit.

Thanks Via.... that's most helpful. It just goes to show that you just don't know what you just don't know!

I'm holding for at least some of the £2.40 MStanley mention.... early days at the mo'.

The reason for the rise ? Probably this...

"Bloomberg reporting that DISH has made a $2bn bid for the spectrum owned by LightSquare. LightSquared has until May 31 to accept the offer."

Due to T&Cs I´m not going to C&P the broker comments, so have a read for yourselves at the 11.41am mark

Just looking at this again.
I bought some a while back when it was bouncing around the 400p line and sold when it hit 550p.
I have to say that I am somewhat confused as to how the share price has held up so well when it lost the big chunk of revenue that was Lightsquared.
I could not bring myself to buy here unless it was closer to the 600 line.
The recent fluctuations are a little confusing but these things do seem to happen without any real rationale.

Could the fluctuation have been down to a wee short attack?

Doubt it would explain that much of a rise.
No better ideas though.

Another huge leap upward today with no news on the table, I assume reinvestment of dividends to be paid Friday (T+3).
