back into these today ... technically & fundamentally they seem too cheap at present and due a move up to something more sensible given the NAV & the near term potential for revenues from their assets

Based on yesterday's announcement, this is now trading are a huge discount to NAV - more than 50%; surely worth tucking a few away for the long term.

Selling volume does not seem to be big enough to suggest that Advance are getting out. so i'm assuming it's someone with a new home for their funds

....
India's economy is recovering faster than expected, mainly driven by government spending, which analysts calculate could have contributed as much as 40% to 50% of India's total GDP growth in the year to September....

yes, tend to agree. ADU though are looking for a lifeboat & IIP has potential if they can garner enough support. ADU seem to have BAMA on-side in a way that IIP failed to. interesting little spat though. meantime road is running traffic and hydro gets nearer to completion

I think IIP are deliberately dragging their feet hoping that the ADU will have no option but to liquidate themselves after the general meeting, which ADU have to convene by 16 Mar 2010.

interesting situation .. how do you see it playing out? ADU will want a profit when they cash in .... IIP will have to talk with them at some point. Be nice if ADU found a nice home for them also but no signs in the trades

If IIP procrastinate long enough, Advance may simply disappear!!

yes, very clever of them. "15 all" now .. let's see what Advance do next ... earnings stream a litle closer ... share price should rise slowly towards the NAV & the earnings will now also start to pull up the NAV later this year .... Advance sititng nicely with 11.8% right now .. if they wanted some more it's getting time to take them so they can turn the heat up on IIP. Do the warrants have any voting rights attaching i wonder?

They have sneaked in a response to the Advance action within the toll road announcement !!

yes .. v good news here .... visibility to earnings now in sight. Advance may now get a bit more pushy if they want this for themselves before the recognition of value here becomes more widespread :-)

Agreed, they would be better off discussing.

Anyway, SING just raised their BID, they seem to be looking for stock...

Seems these IIP-guys are a bunch of cowboys(not Indians :-J ) if they can't even respond "in a timely manner".

imagine Advance might have a few more if PI's take fright ... it's cheap compared to the value of the assets being developed & not far off earnings. i just wonder why IIP have not replied in time? Antagonising Advance doesn't strike me as the logical response at this stage unless they are simply trying to gauge Advance's strength of intent

Interesting as you say... I just hope that it will not scare some PIs :-/
