broomsticks - just seen your post. I'm not sure if it would be worthwhile contacting their competitors, as I guess they will already be happy to see infonic in their current situation?

There might be one person willing to speak - perhaps their former CFO, the one who sold virtually all his holding after being replaced? I can't instantly recall his name, but he was a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and perhaps he is contactable via them. He might have signed a confidentiality agreement - but he might be willing to speak generally?

I have tried logging on to hyvast's site but have not had luck - can't see how to register? Anybody else having difficulty?

I have sorted approx 75% of my data about Corpora/Infonic. It's taking longer than I anticipated, mainly due to personal reasons.

Can anyone tell me how much time I have to pass on some of the information?

In the meantime, what does anyone think about contacting Infonic's
competitor(s) as they may be only too happy to provide us with some details about Infonic's activities?

Where's the money then

Just before the end of last year, the Altas consortium awarded a major contract for Infonic's Geo-Replication software valued at a minimum of £8.3 million, where £4.1 million of software was to be delivered in the first 90 days of the contract. The supplier will also provide £402-million worth of contracted maintenance and services seven years.

The only way the likes of Mark Thompson will stop doing these types of scams is when they are taught a lesson. A lesson that reminds them not to do it again.

VOLVO - 23 Jan'09 - 18:38 - 1233 of 1424 edit

Everyone here has lost their money.

Fact end of story.

Look at the recent attempt to get the share price up with new none existant orders.

Mark Thompson has been taking 192k per year every year with bonus.

Thanks very much, no orders no money because the staff have been taking it.

Sorry for all concerned

I feel so stupid buying even more Infonic over the last year. Over two years ago i posted here some thoughts on the performace of the main director who was in the habit of posting some items here on ADVFN. I was threatened by him with a lawsuit which naturally enough did not materialise. Leopards dont change their spots. I do regret not attending an AGM in order to assess my thoughts on the sod. Annual reports and RNS communiques did show that they are almost worthless when fables are so easily spun.Look at the reports from the main banks over the last few years.Kidology. Telephone conversation confirmed the domain owner of lakehousecapital.co.uk (also shareholder) would only let it be used for short period. He owns business with employees who need consideration and 2 sides exist to every story. Seems fair minded, mentioned he would even like to hear directly infonic directors views.
Don't kill the messenger!

A little birdie tells me all is not well with Infonic's "nearly" new owners, it would appear that all is not well between Infonic in the UK and the USA, the deal claimed to be complete back in December 2008 may not be as secure are it's been made out to be, a well informed source close to the situation suggests that the USA side of the deal is very unhappy with recent events and how it's good name is being dragged into the mud we are also informed that the terms and conditions of the deal are being gone over very closely.
Additionally we hear that refinancing Infonic may not be going as well as EXPECTED, Getting loans from Manchester at extremely high interest rates may have worked in the past, but may not be so forthcoming now, (no more fancy yacht trips for dear MT, indeed he may soon not be welcome on the helicopter if things keep going south for him!, rumour on the street has it that the new backer ('s) are getting worried over their involvement (oh dear) especially the worry over the jewel in the crown deal, ref above.
Meanwhile another close source tells me there are a lot of gloomy faces around Infonic (UK) these days and it's not just the employee's.
May I thank the providers of the above information for their take, on the current situation, keep it coming guys and girls your opinions are very welcome especially from our new found friends in the USA.

Sorry, but was meant with good intension.
Its not always wise to show all the cards we have.
I did know the website was closing Sat morning and any more feedback would have been good.
The new web site is being handled by another of the group in the USA I understand.
The new domian will be more related to the cause.
At least two 1 on 1 meetings have taken place with 'advisors'.
Hyvast is a good contact for updates by email or phone, he placed his email on the iii web.

Thanks for the offer joestraughan. If I get stuck I'll shout for help.

Going back over things I can't believe how much I've forgotten. It's all very interesting, it's better than reading a book and it isn't a fairy story either although at times it reads like one.

Off to do a bit more.

broomsticks - thank-you for your continued efforts. You obviously have a great deal of information - but, if there's anything we can do to help sift through some of it, please let us know.

ric_ola, thanks but I mean the iii private board as I think that it is only fair that I know to whom my information is directed.

I am not going to post anything on the feedback board if the feedback process is not a two way process.. I have posted lots of stuff on here but if other posters can't play fair then neither can I.

e.g. WHAT MEETING?

This particular meeting does not need to have a big deal made about it.
It only involves 2 people and was arranged in the last hour, just be patient advice and info will follow.

We complain about Thompson's lack of communication but can't even keep ourselves up to date ("A meeting takes place on Monday".)

WTF is the point of having 3 places (at least: here, iii private board and lakehousecapital board) if no-one on them tells the rest of us what is happening.

I didn't have my PC when the 'private' website for shareholders was set up so would somebody be kind enough to pm me the URL, I believe that a couple of people who post on here know where I can be contacted.

There are some areas of sensitive information that it is probably best not to post on a public BB.

Thanks in advance.
