10/7/2008 13:27 | One point I would add I suspect Johnma and his gang got way over exposed here and could be a contributory factor. If I recal they were buying bucket loads in the 20's. | the big fella
10/7/2008 13:25 | No it sure isn't pleasant, but hey it's only money. Pretty much as I thought. As for share price there has been a large seller in the wings all the way down. I suspect they are lowering their limit hoping to flush out buyers. But as you say no one is buying shares except the very brave or fool hardy. Although on the face of it this is being priced to go bust, it is in the wrong sector at the wrong time. We will just have to wait and see what deals they do and how the existing units are trading at the next results. I don't expect them to be great but if they can survive the next couple of years they may come out the other side in a healthy position. A bit too many if's and buts for my liking but there you go. | the big fella
10/7/2008 11:26 | Not good at all. I suppose they have battened down the hatches and should be looking to conserve cash. It doesn't really make sense pressing on with the roll out at this moment in time. Give it six months / a year of pain and they could pick up some decent units at knock down prices. However the equity price is a disaster and there issueing shares at these sort of levels will be hugely dilutive to existing shareholders. So NTV what have they spent 2.3 mil cash in 3 months on. Even these Directors don't get paid that much!! I make the market cap about 650k at these levels. Looks as if the market is pricing them to go bust. But the interims suggested busines to be marginally down. Bearing in mind they were profitable at takeover it does not imply they are losing money at a unit trading level. NTV has made a valid point about group overheads and in the current climate one wonders what the Directors are actually doing for their money. And one final point why haven't they bought a single share? A bit p*ssed off and looks like another 20K down the swanny. | the big fella
10/7/2008 11:01 | NTV They have £2.3 million in cash, where did you get that from? Can't say i'm at all happy with the way things are going here, but lets try to stick to facts. | stuart14

07/7/2008 09:19 | I buy to let Chucky and the rental market is good. I agree with you that there may be good buying opportunities soon - perhaps early next year. My property type is the 2 up 2 down terrace, although i do also rent out one apartment. | hardie1960
01/7/2008 13:39 | hows your property business going hardie ?- very glad i sold most of my houses 18 months ago i can see an opportunity for bargains but not yet - i reckon 15% fall to come in the 300 to 800 K market where i tend to invest | chuckycheese
27/6/2008 09:36 | I said at the outset that these people were not 'restaurant people'. The restaurant business is attractive because it is a cash business. I have owned my own Bistro for several years which I recently sold to fund my property business. I know that most would now get out of this if they could. I can only see it falling further and this one could definately be wound up. | hardie1960
27/6/2008 09:29 | where did all those liabilities come from ? | ntv
10/6/2008 13:32 | Dope007, they are delivering to the plan set out in the readmission document. Anything before then doesn't interest me. I haven't read this thread for a while hence the delayed reponse. Clearly the seller is still here though. Getting 6p for them now, frankly complete sh*t but there you go. i've pretty much written this one off now | stuart14
