baldeagle....If a bid comes it will be after due diligence and should be agreed by IEL. It needs to be above this level to prove that the BOD have not sold us short, but the higher we go in the market, the smaller the premium will be.

I think therefore that the rise might just force a quick announcement. Althogh the share price was depressed by a stupid institution selling, we have risen nearly 100% from the low and must be approaching full value. I agree that 40-45p looks the price.

Did someone not mention a while back that they will be looking for 53p.

The MMs have just taken 50k at 32.5p. They must have a buy order to fill imo. Keep it rolling. It's my only bit of blue today!

Now the MMs are 4 to 1 at 31.5-32.5p

I think we will have news this week. With the share price sneeking up like this I'm sure something good is going on.

Re Richard Jennings, he only holds a small percentage, cannot be an insider to either IEL or the potential suitor or he would not be able to buy, and imo is just an investor who knows this business and has a nose for some profit. However buying 25k every so often is only £7k a time, so he's not exactly clammering for them.

My view is that a bid will be above 40p

Anybody any views on whether Mr Cooley/Jennings may be mounting a bid/have a connection?

Simon...We think alike, although 40p will probably see me waving goodbye!

Can't get excited about AFC as a short term trade, but long term I'm sure you are on a winner. I'm pretty stuffed up with GKP, KEFI, SRES, MCHL and IEL at present, so am only really looking at in and outs for now, and I've missed plenty of those recently!!

Had a good tickle on SOU but sold out at 25.5 only to see them hit 31p the following day! Normally I'm the one saying "why didn't I sell" as the share price drifts back to base!

Hi mate

I am just going to wait and see Beagle, my personal opinion is a T/O at between 40-50p.

Have also added quite a few of that other Green energy share i mentioned last week to you AFC.

I`m amazed how some people survive, let alone make money at this game...take Ignis Asset Mangement....for instance. Bought at 80p on the 9th Sept 2009 ....Sold 878,000 IEL shares in dribs and drabs over the past couple of months at an average price of 21p (via form 8-3)....current price 30p...and invested the money into RKH (Rockhopper) at £3.78p....now £2.32P...and these are `The Big Boys`(with our pension money)

Beagle - you have cognotive dissonance due to your entry level.
If you believe the NAV and prospects they are as much a buy at 25p, 30p, 35p & 50p as at 20p.

35-40p by week end.

L I ....We are not up 7p today, just 0.25p. Hard to appraise atm. I've been in since sub 20p and holding tight, but not sure I would buy now.

I've been watching this & haven't bought yet. On the basis of the 7p rise today - have I missed the boat or is this confirmation of getting over a resistance level & there's still decent upside ?

114,000 sells absorbed at over the bid bodes well imo.
