This does seem to be very overdone in my eyes. Perhaps I am missing something.

It's only a bad day if you have to sell, and a good day if you can afford to buy more :)

Every cloud...

One of the promised regular trading statements would soon stop the rot.

58.0 3950

The last two look like sells, but IMD does this. Small & thinly traded.

I would guess that a couple of people read about the market worries over the weekend and decided to take what was on offer.

Nice to see a premium member on the board. I'll start using a dictionary now.

As for what all this means, time will tell (as they say).

As per post 19, Digital look forecasts read:

Forecasts

31-Dec-06 6.14 2.04 4.23p 12.3 n/a n/a 1.50p 2.8%
31-Dec-07 38.58 1.50 12.21p 4.3 0.0 +188% .70p 5.1%

Covering analysts: Corporate Synergy

Just changed to:

Year End Revenue Pre-tax EPS P/E PEG EPS Grth. D/Yld
31-Dec-06 5.52 1.31 2.96p 19.7 n/a n/a 1.50p 2.8%
31-Dec-07 6.69 2.03 4.15p 14.1 0.4 +40% 1.70p 3.2%

Covering analysts: Bridgewell Securities, Corporate Synergy

So, since Bridgewell came out with that "overweight" rating, they've knocked 0.5m off the forecast for this year. Year ending Dec 07 looks like it must have been a typo (tragic).

Then no more & the price dropped off a little. Maybe there's a sell yet to be reported, maybe the price jumped on unusual volume, now it's just settling, maybe there's some press comment that we haven't seen yet.

Either way I'm quite happy with that rise.

Independent Media Key Irish TV Channels Use IMD
RNS Number:0815C
Independent Media Distribution PLC
27 April 2006

For immediate release: 27 April 2006

KEY IRISH TV BROADCASTERS ADOPT IMD'S SYSTEM

Independent Media Distribution Plc ("IMD"), the independent provider of digital
delivery services for transmission quality radio and TV commercials, music and
music video to broadcasters of every type, announces that a further three key
Irish TV broadcasters are now using IMD's digital delivery system to receive
commercials.

TG4 is a national television channel in Ireland, which began broadcasting on 31
October 1996. The channel attracts over 800,000 viewers each day and, with its
daily Irish language programme schedule as its core service, is considered one
of Ireland's major broadcasters. TG4 broadcasts over seven hours of innovative,
quality programming in Irish each day, which is supported by a wide range of
material in other languages. Each month the station receives over one hundred
commercials but being based 20 miles outside Galway, same day delivery of UK
produced commercials has proved virtually impossible.

However since the beginning of April, TG4 has been able to receive commercials
digitally from IMD without the need for a tape back up. IMD has written
dedicated software to integrate with TG4's commercial ingest system and to
enable the traffic team to manage the delivery of the digital commercials and
view review quality versions of adverts. IMD has provided a dedicated digital
connection to TG4, which enables commercials to be sent at any time and also
acts as a transmission back up for TG4.

As well as TG4, IMD has started to digitally deliver commercials to City Channel
and the recently launched Channel 6 which are both based in Dublin. Testing is
also underway with Setanta Sports, Ireland's only dedicated Sports channel, and
IMD hopes to be able to add them onto their digital network very shortly.

In Northern Ireland and Eire, IMD is now able to provide full digital delivery
of TV commercials to UTV, RTE, TV3, TG4, City Channel, Channel 6 and Channel 9.

Aoileann Ni Loingsigh, Head of Scheduling at TG4 commented: "The change over
from tape to digital has made life in traffic at TG4 significantly better.
Immense effort by staff from both IMD and TG4 has made the transition very
smooth. Given our location it is fantastic that we no longer have to wait for
the tapes to be delivered by courier. I am sure that having the digital copy fed
straight into our system will prove to be immensely beneficial for both TG4 and
advertisers alike".

You have to wonder why they hide news like that article.

OK, I admit they release the odd RNS, but most stuff is either buried in their website, or simply found somwhere else.

I think small companies have a difficult enough time getting noticed as it is. Anyway, it's their choice.

Did you notice Bridgewell rating IMD as overweight? Another one that has me puzzled.

The shareprice is a little over half its previous high, the news from the biggest customer yet won is as good as could be hoped for and the predictions for the revenue over the next 18 months or so are excellent.

At this point, we get 'overweight'.

IMD Now Fully Digital With TV3 in Ireland
IMD is happy to announce that another key TV broadcaster is using IMD's digital delivery
system to receive commercials.
TV3 is one of Ireland's major commercial broadcasters receiving hundreds of commercials monthly. From January this year TV3 has been able to receive commercials digitally from IMD without the need for a tape. Previously, IMD has been able to digitally send UK
produced commercials to its Irish office in Dublin where they were laid onto tape and then couriered to TV3's offices on the outskirts of Dublin. This had already speeded up the process of getting commercials to air by removing the need to courier tape from London, a process that has now been improved upon further. IMD has written dedicated software for TV3's traffic team which allows them to manage the delivery of the digital commercials, viewing review
quality versions and applying its own reference numbers.

Marie Fay, Traffic Manager at TV3 commented "The transition from tapes to digital went really well and has made a huge difference to us in
TV3 traffic. Clearing out the library will never be the same again! Please thank all at IMD for making it so easy for us." In the North and South of Ireland IMD are now able to offer full digital delivery to UTV, RTE and TV3 with TG4 undergoing final testing.
