09/3/2011 08:25 | The results have beem published as of yesterday, and guess what they are really quite good. I really cant help feeling this was somewhat unethical but the only comfort I can take is the Directors will have their shares limited to 91p like the rest of us. Given the Directors would have know the likely financial outcome why settle for such a derisory amount, I really hope a counter offer surfaces | dgwinterbottom
07/3/2011 13:36 | As to the no vote Woody, i don't think we will make any difference, done deal. Pretty sure we will see the results and much sooner rather than later. If i am right in the above post then that will tempt a better offer. If you take a look at ITV results and you will see good growth in the advertising and hopefully run in tandem in Europe to, and that won't hurt IMD either. | veryniceperson
07/3/2011 10:51 | I also have held a reasonable holding too for some time now building over the past few years and feel very much let down by the sale, okay i'll make quite a bit off the sale but 91p is derisory considering the potential of the business. I would have expected at least 120p possibly more. The only hope is that additonal bidders come to the table. Whether we'll see the results or not i'm not sure, they were due around the 14th March which is well in advance of the date of sale which i recall is sometime towards end of May? with docs issued to shareholders end of March i think, so if they are released we'll get some idea of the growth and perhaps more importantly may prompt more bidders. On the subject of a no vote i doubt there are sufficient numbers of small shareholders to mount a serious challenge to the deal. Woody | woodcutter
01/3/2011 00:16 | Hi all Not very happy, feel we've been sold down the river. Look back on the interim results, the outlook stated the first 2 months were 27% ahead of this time last year in line with management expectations. Seems as July and August must be there slowest months of the year and the last 4 months to Christmas there busiest I reckon they were up a substantially way ahead of expectations. It would or could have pushed the share price higher than the paltry 91p we are being offered Could someone tell me if we now get a chance of seeing the results for the full year. Also if you do get a chance to vote, vote NO. These shares have got much further to run, have held these and taken a real interest for the last 10 years. -------------------- | veryniceperson
28/2/2011 16:56 | Why was this done just before the results are due out? Do we still get results? And do we have a chance to say NO! | bigblueeyes
28/2/2011 14:06 | Another of my long term investments gets bought out. I hope they make loads of money - and spend some of it on me! | sbs
28/2/2011 13:23 | Shows you how well the company is doing. Personally not very happy, wanted to keep them long term. Hope a better offer comes in, but in these times very unlikely. | veryniceperson
28/2/2011 12:06 | 91p MBO by scheme of arrangement. They have 57% shareholders onside so looks pretty sown up unless a higher offer comes in. Nice return but it will be a shame to see them go. | wjccghcc
05/2/2011 16:57 | This was done October 2010 worth a read. Hoping full years results will be good PS Need to scroll to find it. | veryniceperson

28/1/2011 15:41 | Hi Games, how are doing. Have not checked the TV stations of late, so thanks for that. Just checked out the digital look. 14% growth for this financial year and 20% the next, will be very happy with that. Just wish they had given us a trading statement before Christmas. piece of mind Hi vnp the 'road-map for future innovations' sounds interesting. -------------------- Having been in these for last 10-12 years they are not a company that lets the grass grow under there feet, they just keep growing with new initiatives and ways of growing the business. HD TV is the new format and IMD are there at the start. Games - That's why I keep adding when I some spare cash to do so. | veryniceperson
28/1/2011 13:27 | Hi vnp the 'roadmap for future inovations' sounds interesting. On another note the list of TV Stations that imd now deliver to has grown significantly over recent times to a truely international base, with even China listed. I noticed the Digital Look eps forecast chart in the header has finally caught up with what has been on proquote for a while. I'm not sure how last year will pan out, with uk gov adspend down, which is more than countered by the ims from ITV on the 16th Nov 2010. But i am pretty confident going forward with the new recent rollouts in Europe that IMD look like they are entering an exciting growth period. consensus eps for this year 5.562p and the following year 6.695p (from proquote as per chart above) and if we are in a recession or not adspend usually leads coming out. | games
27/1/2011 18:17 | Nice article found on IMD web site. worth sharing. | veryniceperson
26/1/2011 13:42 | Nice little tick this am. The big question, does anyone no why? Could just be market makers, making a market a market of cause. A very happy nice person | veryniceperson

27/11/2010 00:41 | release on imd hompage (a typical google translation below) SevenOne Media digitalisiert die Werbespotlogistik der TV-Sender digitizes the logistics of the commercial TV stations, München, 25.11.2010 After the big change last year, the digitization of the entire play-out center of the group, now follows the logical second step, the full transition to digital commercial delivery. This was in the past two years been thoroughly tested and proven. Most modern post-production or have completely tapeless delivery of advertising changed in part. The need to reduce costs in commercial production and the high acquisition costs in the HD tape strongly support this development. The benefits to market participants are clear: faster delivery to the sender, shorter processing times and a self-reporting chain should be allowed. Media agencies are more concerned with lost or delayed bands not charged, and emissions of courier vehicles and band productions remain sustainable. IMD has proprietary fiber optic network to all major German radio stations, and built an integrated server for the commercial logistics of the transmitters installed in full. This advertising allows a direct acquisition by the IMD transmitted into the systems of the transmitter without the previous manual entry processes. An upstream quality control even at IMD prevented the delivery of defective spots on the station.
