Lots of shorts having to close at or about 1250p. Guess the shares could even be covered at a premium before 1.00pm.

Soco, Tullow, Dana, Premier and Dragon, however i won't touch any of them till the price of oil starts a new uptrend. Till then Gold and FX trading will keep me busy

I see OIL has taken a complete pasting today, don't think I'll be putting my IEC gains there though.

Guy who told me he used to be good at monopoly, stopped me this morning, and asked, 'could I spare a sheckel for an ex leper?'...... I told him he'd have more luck up the Khyber Pass!

I use MF Global. They assented the shares on the 23rd Dec. Merrill's did say that they offered a facility to trade assented shares so I guess they used that. MF Global aren't an online broker so are a bit more flexible in dealing with this kind of stuff.

wshak...which broker do you use? just tried TDW and said assented shares can not be sold!!
