Impax announces first close of third renewable energy infrastructure fund

London, 30 November 2016 - Impax Asset Management Group plc ("Impax" or "the Company") today announces that its wholly owned subsidiary Impax Asset Management (AIFM) Limited has raised EUR149 million for its third private equity renewable energy infrastructure private equity fund, Impax New Energy Investors III ("NEFIII" or the "Fund").

As part of this fund raising, Impax has committed to invest EUR4 million in NEFIII.

The Fund will focus on investment opportunities in independent power companies and projects in the renewable energy sector in Europe.

The Company expects to announce a final close of NEFIII within the next fifteen months.
