Very hard to buy I agree, I managed to add 5k which is the NMS, I know it isn't much, but it might be the only way to build a holding here?

Holding this level seems to suggest that the baseline for this stock is now reset and the march results ought to confirm just how cheap it still is.

I was keen on writing about IME on my site two days back, but thought it would be unfair given the extreme difficulty of obtaining shares at a price close to the mid

Well done to holders - I expect you will be rewarded in due course. Just a shame about the stock availability!

If they do make 4p of earnings why shouldn't it trade on 10x which is a big discount to the market and still allows nothing for new business wins? Two directors, who have been adding very recently, own nearly 50% and it's reasonable to assume that they probably have a clearer picture of IME's prospects than any of us! At 40p it would still have a market value of just over £5m.

Nice position for holders to be in. Illiquid small cap stock + positive update + probable undervaluation by market = BLUE.

Just got to ask, anyone going to own up as the plank who bought 7574 shares yesterday and sold 42 trading minutes later for a loss? Quite a feat in a stock which gained 50% in 2 days!!!

I felt the right thing to do was just go for it. I bought at 16.5p yesterday when the quoted offer was 16p, and at 17.5p today when the offer was 17p. I am well in the money now. If you believe in the IME story it is perhaps just best to pay up for whatever you can get. It may in any case be that the quoted bid/offer prices are not a true reflection of the real market.

Yes it is very hard to buy decent amounts here, I brought yesterday but I tried for the first 40 minutes this morning before going out with no luck. I should have given golf a miss really, what a waste of effort, must have had my buy order of IME on my mind :o(

The problem here is when one of the tip sheets or magazine start to highlight these imo.

Cfro - paid 18.5p when offer was 17.5p - just for 20k...

Cant really build much of a position here now, but still, every little helps.

amazing to find a small, profitable company that hasn't diluted shareholders in tougher times by spraying out billions of shares...there are only 14m in issue and the directors own most and continue to buy.

You'll never deal online Steg. I have had to pay over the 'offer' for mine, nothing available on the 'offer'.

You also need a good broker who can talk direct to the mm's.

Hello folks, like cfro, I have been buying yesterday and today after interceptor2 alerted me to the excellent RNS.

IME looks a great long term opportunity - but clearly not for trading judging by the difficulty of acquiring stock.

It is a pity there is not a long term chart in the header. There is a lot of share price recovery to go for after a huge consolidation period. That was one of the things that convinced me to buy. Important moving averages are all now in an uptrend.

if the profitabilty is higher than forecast on moderate turnover increase then if any one of their trials comes through, the new forecasts will still be too low so it's a free option on news business wins. i imagine that new business can be funded within current headcount and capcity so would be very high margin. am i getting carried away imagining 30p in March after the results...drink of water please nurse..

Cant bloody buy any. No online quotes and keep getting limits rejected..... 17.5p - nope, 18p - nope, 18.5p - 20k - hardly a lot is it.

Ive been buying today and yesterday after such a strong trading update.

Forecasts of earnings were originally for 2.1p and 3p which are now going to be 'substantially beat'. So the forward pe was the only 5.8 with a share price of 17p but that was before the statement so considerably cheaper still now.

I can remember the days when i used to boogie away to Bruno Brookes' tunes too. :0))

The stock is so tightly held that it's hard to see how buyers can get a meaningful amount of shares, even the CEo is after them! What more do you need to know :)

"The benefit of cost cutting and restructuring undertaken in 2012 combined with the strong fourth quarter trading indicates that profit before tax for the year to 31 December 2013 will be significantly ahead of Broker's forecasts."I think the forecast was 3p so if they make 4p then at 16p the shares are 4X with a market cap of £2.3m
