Tempted to buy in big into some stocks but I think I'll wait for a bigger correction before I do that.

With 184k Buys already reported (and possibly more yet to come through) and no Sells it is rather surprising that the price has not moved at all so far today. In addition, IG have now more than halved their spread from 1.72 this morning to 0.72 this afternoon !

170k worth of buys showing (i.e. all buys today). Now showing at full ask of 18p for 10k. Ready to go up I reckon unless there is a big seller still lurking.

If Growth Co have done a full article on the internet like that it will be in their next publication that will be posted out soon - that usually has a good effect when they highlightstuff on low PE's.

Masurenguy- it depends on the size of the trade.

For SEAQ stocks such as ISD (as well as SEATS+ stocks) the rules are as follows:

Trades up to 6x the NMS of the stock (which is set by the LSE for each MM, so can differ depending on which MM your broker buys through) are reported within three minutes

Trades over 6x NMS which are immediately filled (O trades) are reported an hour after completion (or in cases where the NMS is below 2000 shares, 2 hours after completion)

T trades, and other worked trades, are reported on completion or part-reported at the end of each working day for which the order remains open.

In addition LARGE orders can be filled off-market through IDBs or in direct transactions, these are sometimes reported as X trades, or sometimes not reported (the rules depend on who is taking part in the deal).

ps: the NMS for ISD is 10,000 for three of the MMs, 25,000 for the other two.

Depends on nms which i believe is 2000 for ISD hence any trade over this size is likely to be delayed and if the price is moved in that time a buy could be shown as a sell.

Interesting comment doubleorquits. Are trades delayed always by one hour ?

I bought a stock yesterday and the trade did not show up for more than an hour and yet I bought another stock this morning and the trade showed up almost immediately. I've noticed this pattern before - some trades have delayed reporting while others are almost instant.

Just out of interest does anyone have any explanations for this ?

There seems to be a fair bit of stock around at the moment. I've added 25k to go with CR and JT's top-ups although they are obviously delayed by one hour.I trust that carver will get filled as well so we can account for over 100k shares this morning plus steve's initial buy.

Hmmmmmm.......still not registered any share trading yet this morning so CR's buy is still off the radar. However IG have just moved the spread by 50% from 1.2 to 1.73p while the conventional bid offer remains 0.5p !
