03/10/2016 15:07 | And so say all us long term shareholders!! | monty68
03/10/2016 14:32 | Thanks Owenski, really useful links. I've had a few of these for several years and had practically written them off! On closer examination now this looks like one of those AIM shares with a very long tail that has to evolve over several years of subtle but important changes of strategy but most importantly, change of leadership/managemen I notice that about this time last year they had a pre-close trading update. Surely there is every chance, looking at the previous recent updates that this will be quite favourable . I am going to wait for that before taking a more meaningful position but if it IS positive i can see these doubling or better in the short term and higher still later. I have checked through the news flow and can see that there has been some share dilution but about ten years ago they were over 30p and considerably more before that. I can't really see any sound reason for those valuations back then especially compared to where the company appears to be now and where it is likely going so i see a real opportunity for a good organic investment returning very good multiples. As i said tho I'm going to wait for the update, ( if there is one ) and add then if it is good! The price has held up well since the recent spike so let's hope so! | pru dent
25/9/2016 12:45 | Thought I'd have a re-read through some of the results and history of IGE, often I find a second or third run through brings up information that I'd missed. The below link is over a year old and I cant remember if it was posted before but it has some rich detail in it which includes a bit of commentary on the board room politics prior to and during BM taking the top role, also a bit on his views on the business staying floated by growth - at the time it was mooted that the company should be taken private, also a bit on finances and on product launches in The US. Since that time we've seen some pretty good success at IGE in terms of product development, launch, orders and the company now hitting breakeven for this year, kind of shows BM had the right vision and strategy for the business and therefore gives confidence that IGE will continue on a similar path. Which takes us onto future developments and growth for the business, I found it worthwhile again to have a look at the recent results video to familiarise myself with where IGE is now and what's to come, does look to me like next calendar year investors will have more to look forward to, quite a bit of detail concerning this is contained in the presentation. I've been buying this at about 2p and 3p so trying to ascertain how far the share price is likely to go - no idea - but think its likely that the recent accumulation could still be the start of a re-rating of IGE. Just thinking out loud, my opinion only. | owenski
23/9/2016 08:47 | A little less hubris from some on here would be appreciated. I expressed no personal negative view on IGE. I simply reported the stock downgrade from the company's NOMAD, and the public naming and shaming, with the judges approval, of one of the major shareholders concerning a tax avoidance tribunal decision. I'd assumed his shares might be dumped at any time for tax reasons, but a counter view was expressed by an anonymous friend. I've nothing more to add on those topics. | columbarius
22/9/2016 11:49 | Lets all calm down and resume previous sensible conversations | monty68
22/9/2016 10:21 | Filter button works for me, EJ. | mathematic
22/9/2016 08:32 | EJ, as you're a 'blue' subscriber and clearly of greater intellect than us lowly non subscribers, why not start this new premium thread yourself instead of getting another to do your work for you, then you can move over to it on your own. Just a suggestion ;-) | owenski
22/9/2016 06:39 | Another one who wants to hide in a confirmation bias bubble. Pooling those who pay advfn would lower the average IQ of the thread. | columbarius
21/9/2016 22:12 | What a strange suggestion EJ !! | peterblok
21/9/2016 19:54 | ditto - you'll lose passive readers as well as active contributors .... | spherical globe
21/9/2016 14:52 | ditto, I think you will find that you will lose a lot of contributions | monty68
21/9/2016 14:02 | Well, I think you'll find an awful lot of us gave up our subscription here.. but do as you must | sarahbudd
13/9/2016 18:54 | IIRC garth gave it up long ago?? | scaleyman
13/9/2016 17:51 | I am only here for constructive discussion about the company and its hopefully bright future, along with most other lth. End of topic as far as I am concerned since I am not the moderatot, the header would seem to indicate that it is "garth". | waggle
13/9/2016 17:29 | not too sure who the moderator of his thread is, but perhaps columbarius should be excluded if this is all he/she can add?? What an illogical read-across in any event! I couldnt see any names on the link? | waggle
13/9/2016 13:20 | No positive posts and no negative ones either, just fact and honest opinion which you appear to be frightened of. Is SarahBudd your 'we' and 'us' spokesperson? | columbarius
13/9/2016 13:03 | columbarius - you have posted on 2 company threads since you started using this name, Image Scan and MWE, not one positive post. Why? Rather than accuse Assagai of hiding behind a username. Who are you? | mathematic
13/9/2016 12:07 | we do have minds of our own here columbarius..and most of us have been here for years | sarahbudd |
