25/7/2016 07:45 | Well and truly on the right track.I have 2015/16 (Ends Sept) forecasts before the 1st trading update as a 250k loss which they stated they were on target for. They have said that margins are in excess of 40% so should be well into the black for 2016/17 and may even be for this period.Plus we have this to add to the mix from the end of June Image Scan, the AIM-listed specialist supplier of X-ray screening systems to the security and industrial inspection markets, is pleased to announce that it has signed a distribution agreement for X-ray mail scanning systems with Todd Research, a leading manufacturer in the market. Furthermore, two orders totaling six systems have now been received. Downside risk greatly reduced in the last six weeks | riddlerone
25/7/2016 07:26 | Indeed, I'd take a guess that this will be back in profit. Now that the millstone of that ghastly nuclear contract has gone and the business has turned around with new products, new management and is winning orders, the <3m M.cap is looking like a floor risk wise and we have upside to go for. Can only see an improving share price especially if the forward numbers show IGE is back in the black. | owenski
25/7/2016 07:20 | Impressive news. Appear's a very viable business is emerging after all these year's. Only a matter of time now at TRT-annother that has demanded a large amount of patience comes good.(imo) | drw1

30/6/2016 12:54 | Exciting times for the company - stakeholders and Country. If other small companies innovate and produce goods people worldwide desire the economy will expand. | clocktower
30/6/2016 12:36 | Drop in sterling will help export sales and I'm hoping for other big contracts soon - plus repeat orders. And the whole shebang valued at less than £3M. Massive uplift coming here. | philjeans
30/6/2016 10:20 | Special should read Sp. Dam phone. | assagai
30/6/2016 10:04 | Yes this great news and probably the most valuable single order ever. The company is clearly on the right track now. What is needed is exposure, techinvest, ic, shares mag.etc etc. The special should rise but we need buyers! | assagai
30/6/2016 09:02 | If I read it correctly, looks like they might be revising guidance later in the year when the financials are clearer. Yes EJ, its a dead BB here though so I'd say IGE is off the radar to some extent. Seems the company is starting to deliver under BM, perhaps then its the best time to add before it does get noticed. IMO | owenski
30/6/2016 08:58 | Price should gain traction if the 'confidence' in the last sentence of the RNS is well placed. | drw1
30/6/2016 07:27 | One third of its market cap in one order. Good news indeed. | owenski
30/6/2016 07:24 | Excellent news! £££ Major order for portable X-ray systems Image Scan, the AIM-listed specialist supplier of X-ray screening systems to the security and industrial inspection markets, is delighted to announce that it has received a large order for its ThreatScan(R)-LS1 portable X-ray system. The customer is a government security organisation in Asia, and the value of the contract is just over GBP800k. Delivery is due in December 2016. This order constitutes the single largest portable X-ray order ever received by Image Scan, in both value and number of units, and is a strong affirmation of the competitive positioning of the ThreatScan(R)-LS1 system. The Company has received the first stage payment. ThreatScan(R)-LS1 is part of the expanding range of portable X-ray systems developed by Image Scan following its August 2014 fundraising. The system allows police and military counter terror teams to investigate suspect packages quickly and safely. It is made up of a compact rugged X-ray generator (which is unique to Image Scan), the Company's ultra-thin detector panel and a rugged laptop running the new ThreatSpect suite of image analysis software. All elements of the system can be connected wirelessly. The fulfilment of the new order is not expected to impact Image Scan's working capital requirements. The Company is performing in line with market expectations before receipt of this new order. Given the timing of the receipt of this order the Company will issue a statement regarding any potential impact on performance for the financial year to 30 September 2016 once supply chain and operational planning for the new order is complete. Bill Mawer, Chairman and CEO of Image Scan, said: "I am delighted to be able to announce this important new order. This marks a significant milestone in the repositioning of our portable X-ray product range and demonstrates the strength of our international sales and marketing efforts. We are confident that other customers will find the many distinctive features of our new systems attractive." -ENDS- | philjeans
30/6/2016 07:04 | Valuation going to be very positively re-assessed this morning. Should be good for you,Assagai! | drw1
23/6/2016 11:38 | We just need to persuade buyers of that. Problem is we are not a new company although in a new era. Too many people burned by the old setup. Patience remains our mantra! | assagai
23/6/2016 08:47 | A new area and so further potential here. Miles to go. | philjeans
23/6/2016 08:40 | Good news that can only support what appears to be a rising trend in the share price | drw1
23/6/2016 08:39 | Share price hasn't gone anywhere for years, more to the point the cap is less than 3m, this is still priced the same as when the previous management were in charge and had that ghastly nuclear contract running. It's a changed and revitalised business since then, so I'd argue the downside is factored in and with any uplift in rev/profit - looking likely - then the upside gets very interesting. I think it's just a matter of patience now, but the evidence is, the sales footprint is working. IMO | owenski |
