ha ha 'stack up'

bleeding edge tech development process is never linear so I wouldn't be surprised if there have been snafus, can hardly expect them to give running commentary on that

Yes they do operate in large growth areas , I thought a little more news would have been released by now though or does it mean they are no nearer to producing

But it looks like this battery isn't going to set the world alight, something doesn't stack up!

Higher I expect.

The areas they operate in are the huge growth sectors of the future. I'd imagine all their contacts with massive global partners covered by NDAs

The price hasn't changed for the longest period ever. When it breaks which must be soon is it going lower or higher? Depends on if we get news

Agreed.
The long silence suggests a retreat from the chest beating of over a year ago.
The company is now many months behind the roadmap it laid out 15 months ago.
Tiny IOT batteries will not fulfill the dream. If that's all they can manage then they should admit it.
Double stacked, on-chip batteries is what is necessary and what was promised.
If you can't do that then, for god's sake, tell us now, not in eighteen months time!

I have been plodding through the annual report. This is going to be a mega company one day or crumble and be swallowed by some big concern.

I'd been wondering about a good use case for the Ilika battery; this looks like one:

Institute of Railway Research is looking into fitting wireless sensors at railway crossings with funding from the Department of Transport

NETWORKS of tiny wireless sensors could not only improve safety at railway crossings but would also be much less costly to install and maintain, drawing their electrical power from track vibration. These are among the findings of a UK Government-funded project carried out by rail experts at the University of Huddersfield.

And rescue funding? They won't last a year with current cash burn.

That would be the initial surge imo.

To reach higher share price they would have to convince the market what stackability actually means.

Also, they will need to achieve commerciality.

After discovering a suitable material for achieving a solid electrolyte, the next big thing will be stackability.

I realise there may be major engineering problems in achieving this. Let's hope they are getting the right help from companies like ARM.

An announcement that they have achieved a two-stack cell would be massive.
My target share price on any such announcement would be near £2

I wonder if this device is a threat to Ilika? Hard to say without more details, but it seems to hit much the same market segment as Ilika's cell.
