If I remember right, the 'route-plan' from Jan 2015 was roughly as follows...

2015...Single celled, low power batteries for the "internet of things"
2016...small, multi-stacked batteries 5v.
2017...medium multi-stacked batteries 5v. for laptops.
2018...large multiplexed, multi-stack batteries for automotive.

The Stereax M250 for IOT was launched in April 2016. Imo at least 6 months behind schedule.

If we continue at this pace we will simply miss the boat.

I can only assume that they have not satisfactorily managed to produce a multi-stacked cell, without which, nothing. But you never know, they could make an announcement about it any time...before Christmas please!

There are serious questions that need answering here. Any BoD that have overseen a -50% price reversal need to take a long hard look at themselves. Looks like most of us PIs invested here have been sucked in on false promises. Lots of fanfare about the clever boffins, the pilot line, product launch etc etc and then radio silence. where did it all go wrong?

It appears they are reduced to trying to sell it at Trade shows. I'm not sure that was ever part of the Plan?

What is actually meant by maturity, are they expecting signing a deal soon?

"The intensive commercial discussions we have had with partners in the first half of the year are maturing and we are making progress with the implementation of our licensing model."

Anyone know what other IP other than the battery stuff they own?

If they don't actually own or part own any of the IP in relation to aero alloys and fuel cell catalysts then what's the point in that side of the business? It's not as if they are getting any worth while revenue from it!!

Can anyone shed any light on this?

There are a lot of things in science that it could be but I guess he means solid state battery.

As I said, they seem to have edited the roadmap from two years ago. I wish they would publish an updated one.

Rns - The Company remains focused on developing and licensing its solid state battery Intellectual Property in line with its roadmap.

PJ1, What is an SSB?

So, somewhat as predicted. An announcement saying, basically nothing, apart from indicating they have edited their own roadmap.

Their achievements are considerable - a working, solid electrolyte (announced three years ago) followed by a proper working battery (Stereax(TM) M250 launched seven months ago) - but they are about a year behind their original roadmap.

At least their cashflow seems to be controlled and their capital base adequate.

So the 50p at which they last raised money is not in too much danger having bounced off the 42.5p support. Phew.

No more whingeing for now.

The Directors have delivered. They have developed a SSB. Commercialising it is the problem, scientists cant sell. The fact they 'appear' to be trawling around similar to trade shows trying to sell it must be a major red flag. Surely all in the electronics industry are aware of he development already?

Does feel like they have some fundamental problem here, some sort of update would be good but I would guess that at the mo they only have bad news.

What have Ilika actually delivered (unfulfilled promise and dilution excepted)? Always was a gamble. My investment now written off - thankfully it was smaller than many. The directors though really do have some explaining to do...
