WO - agree with all your points. I am also looking at topping up - didn't today because sometimes stocks this size can go down for 2/3 days in my experience, before any bounce starts. However on a fwd pe of 16.2 and a fwd PEG of 0.77, along with the other points you make - looks good to me.

I've actually just topped up (having originally bought at under £6), as I think its far from ex-growth. The Swiss Franc was a one off event, but otherwise its established markets are still growing, and the Blackrock tie-up with exclusive new ETF's together with its new stockbroking service could have a lot of potential (and widen their customer base for spreadbetting too - the discounted trading fee of £6 for those with spreadbet accounts is a smart move, for instance).

Whilst I'm not expecting a HL-style rating, it does show you that a re-rating isn't necessarily out of the question. In my experience the online stockbroking industry is generally quite poor and crying out for someone innovative to come in and shake it up a bit. If they can offer an effective and reliable service, at a decent price, and continue to support it with excellent resources such as IG Live TV, they could really see some growth.

No debt, strong free cashflow and a 4%+ dividend add to the appeal for me.

IG reports tomorrow. I have created a Weekly Thread to watch charts of companies reporting on any given day.

Mainly for my own use but hope others will find it useful too.

Will see the extent of any ForEx loss from the Swiss Frank, FXCM most likely will resume trading tomorrow.

As a one-off hit, an efficient market would remove £30m from the value of IG, as that is the estimated value lost to the business. Only if it was to become a recurring issue should a larger drop be justified. It does raise questions about their hedging system, but given events such as these are extremely rare, i'm not worried one bit.

As a one off hit it is an absolute irrelevance. A movement like that happens hardly ever in a commonly used currency pair. Perhaps they could have been a bit more aware of the possibility of the withdrawal of the floor and restricted trading. More important is the development of the business which is more than promising.

On it's own, a fairly big hit for a single event. However how often does a major, strong currency suddenly move by 30% ? Let's hope the Euro stays together... Keeping mine, but don't view it as cheap enough to buy more.

Relative to market cap (at yesterday's close) a £30 mil hit represents 1.1%. No need to over-react on this. Bit of a surprise that they are not protected from these kind of losses though!

Markets are irrational. No point trying to reason with them in the hope they come around to our way of thinking. I've learnt that the hard way...

So the share price adjustment knocks £100m off the valuation when the maximum hit of the Swiss frane movement is set at £30m - I think the MMs are trying to shake the tree.

Very unfortunate news out the blue. Will create uncertainty until the results are out and further guidance is provided. Up to £30m is one hell of a 'dislocation'! I'm out for now.
