I visited midway once back in the fall of 2004 for about 6 weeks to help out on Costco and met quite a few of the staff and workers so may have crossed paths with you if you was a hysil worker refillmore. Good luck with this share mate.

I worked for IG USA in purchasing but visited Penallta a few times. I almost bought more when it dipped down to 17p. Now I wish I had but those were some worry times back then.

I sat next to Gervais Williams at a dinner about a year or two ago, and he was raving about this company & how good its management is, so I bought some. Done very nicely so far, so thanks Gervais!

It still looks reasonably priced, even after today's rise - a PER of about 15 isn't bad for a well-managed company with good growth potential, at the moment.

Regards, Paul.

Any one else tried to sell this morning, wanted to reduce/let some go, nothing doing, no live quotes from HL, limit only, not executed.

Wow 35p, that's brilliant refillmore-i think iv'e averaged down to about 41p over the years and i also can remember when these were as low as 14p-worrying times back then!

Would i know you, did you work in Penallta?

I am right there with you T2T. I also used to be an employee and bought IGR about 8 years ago @ 35p. I remember getting very nervous when it dipped all the way down to 17p. We have come a long way and are being rewarded nicely for our investment.

Thanks Daz.

Yep bb2, this has been a good one for me but has taken about 9 years to get to here-we could get another doubling and more in the share price though within 2 years or so IMO.

T2R. The SCSW is copyright and also out of respect to subscribers, I'll leave it a while before posting. Suffice it to say, it's a main recommendation.

Should be a good Monday morning with 2 tips.

Hi T2R, what an investment this has been for you, up 300% from around the 50p level. Lots more left in the tank I believe.

Yes PS, a re-rating going down here and still value to be had according to Edisons mini update yesterday.

INVESTMENT SUMMARY

IG Design delivered strong FY16 results, with constant currency revenue growth of 4.4%, gains at both gross and operating margin level and net debt reduced by more than expected. The new branding emphasises that it is more than an efficient, commodity business and that its skillsets can be leveraged across adjacent categories. The US opportunity is by far the largest and the new local management team is making a strong start. The acquisition of Lang Companies for $3.6m in cash gives a further step up. The deal is earnings neutral in FY17e but accretive in FY18e as the synergistic benefits start to flow. The company has raised £5.0m net to fund the additional working capital and other investment opportunities. The share price has started to grasp the changing proposition, but has yet to fully reflect it.

You might think someone is running the slide rule over IGR for possible buy out. Having said that it is just as likely to be the long overdue re rating.

Gervais Williams still hot on IGR.....

IG Design to weather ‘Brexit’ storm, says Williams
Citywire AA-rated Gervais Williams is backing IG Design (INGR) to prosper post-‘Brexit’ that’s to exposure to overseas markets.

Williams holds 3.6% of his Miton UK Smaller Companies fund, which he runs with Citywire AA-rated Martin Turner , in the company.

The stock is one of his few holdings exposed to consumer discretionary spend, a sector of the market likely to come under pressure if the ‘Brexit’ vote sparks a slowdown in the UK economy. But Williams said IG Design was likely to prosper given the fall in the pound.

‘This company does manufacture wrapping paper, cards and crackers for the US, Europe and the UK markets. If anything it should be a beneficiary of the weakness of sterling given the manufacturing plant here, and sales and profits generated overseas in foreign currencies,’ he said.

Williams’ fund has returned 57.4%, more than double the 26% average return of funds in the Investment Association’s UK Smaller Companies sector.

I don't mind admitting it, i'm riding out the ups and downs and remain a buyer up to the £3 region. Even then I will keep it under review as it is such an encouraging story

Some placings are a warning that the company is in trouble and needing to raise emergency funds. This is absolutely NOT the case here. The funds are being used to help grow the business and support existing expansion plans. IGR will be stronger as a result with benefit to the share price
