22/7/2016 11:03 | On a very bad day for house builder after the negative PMI is holding pretty well after early rise | master rsi

21/7/2016 08:39 | From the BREE statement today: "Whatever the prognosis for the UK economy, we remain confident that we can continue to generate value for our shareholders," "We have some major contracts which will help to underpin our performance during a period of uncertainty, along with a strong balance sheet and a record of strong cash generation in challenging markets," it added, reporting results for the six months to end June. | aishah
21/7/2016 00:18 | Bought some late on the day ahead of Interim results due 5th August, 3 weeks away, it seems some are already buying ahead of them by the way is moving up. On expectations of EPS of 19p for this year, they are on a low PE of 7.5 | master rsi
20/7/2016 20:51 | The main reason I bought, aside from the reason it looks cheap and US revenue as you mentioned, is the fact that the new plant they are building is aimed at targeting imports as the UK currently imports 300-350 million bricks a year. If this seemed like a good idea at the time, surely it must be even better now as weak pound will make imports looks less attractive. No one seems to have mentioned this fact. OK there is short term demand uncertainty due to Brexit but I'm long here, and there is a housing supply shortage in the UK. DYOR. | smokybenchod
20/7/2016 12:12 | I have added here. On balance these are worth holding with stimulus likely next month on rates and more QE. Almost a fifth of sales are US based; so weak pound also helps. Very low p/e and a 3%+ yield. dyor Deutsche has a BUY rating and 226p target J P Morgan are OVERWEIGHT and 240p target. | aishah
19/7/2016 22:43 | If you read the statement (and ignore the misleading headlines)it says 'Both of these brick plants were mothballed between 2010 and 2014 and the Company has demonstrated its capability to successfully bring production back online in a short period of time'. Ok Brexit may have encouraged them to keep them offline but the mothballing itself wasn't actually a result of Brexit. Small but important difference. | smokybenchod
19/7/2016 08:58 | Popped up on my watchlsit post Brexit rout. However Forterra has mothballed two plants recently and if the housing market has a harder landing then this will suffer too. Otherwise looks cheap on fundamentals. dyor | aishah
19/7/2016 08:19 | Looks over sold | nw99
14/7/2016 15:29 | Not a good day today, hope for better tomorrow! | smokybenchod

18/1/2016 23:35 | @shammytime: pretty much what I was thinking too, it's been good to me... I shorted a couple of times and bought back, but I am going to leave it be for a while... | flyposter
18/1/2016 16:19 | I sold this morning due to the weak action. Great opportunity but I think it will drift down to 200p before any proper upturn | shammytime
18/1/2016 15:32 | @rolo7 the MOD have a heck of a lot of unused land, I went back to my hometown of Colchester last year for the first time in years, what used to be the largest garrison town in the UK, has been massively reduced in size. We saw loads of unused MOD land. It is surprising to me that the house building companies sp's are down, particularly as a few of them brought out good results. MCS are doing well though...(wish I had got some of that action), I expect Countryside to do the same. Long term... IBST will do well, I sold here to free up some cash for upcoming IPO's. IMO DYOR | flyposter
18/1/2016 10:58 | Needed to be a stronger TS, given the double top. I sold at the bell, considering buying back in if the market settles, but happy with my sale, I bought in at around 190. Eyeing up Countryside when they IPO. | flyposter

14/1/2016 16:27 | I hold too few of this, tree shake yesterday up today in weak market. Is IBST going to benefit from cheaper oil prices and energy costs? | rolo7 |
