16/4/2012 07:05 | That'll do nicely RNS Number : 3457B i-design Group Plc 16 April 2012 AIM: IDG I-DESIGN GROUP PLC ("i-design" or "the Group") Trading Update i-design, the leading developer and supplier of ATM and self-service marketing solutions for the banking industry (enabling banks and ATM owners to run both their own targeted marketing campaigns and third party advertising), is pleased to make the following update on trading for the first six months of the current financial year ending 30 September 2012. Revenues for the first half are expected to be ahead of the same period last year and the Group is anticipated to deliver a small profit before tax, having moved into maiden profits in the second half of the last financial year. Net cash is expected to stand at c. GBP0.81m at 31 March 2012. First half results reflect the benefit of i-design's first contract with a Canadian bank. This was secured via channel partner, IBM, and was also an early win for the Group's next generation software, joono. Media sales are expected to make a similar contribution to the first half of last year and we are encouraged that media sales bookings for the year are ahead of bookings at the same point last year. The Board believes that there are significant growth opportunities for i-design's software and media sales and remains confident that i-design is well positioned for continued progress. | bigbigdave

29/3/2012 16:36 | I actually sold my rather large holding a while ago generating a small loss. This unfortunately didnt work out too well for me as i was a tad late in getting in. But still taking a very keen interest and just biding my time to have another go. I think you can see GHF that we are all still here in various forms! | cfro
29/3/2012 16:25 | Talking of newsflow...atmAd has added a few further campaigns to the website in the header in the last few hours. Regards GHF | glasshalfull
29/3/2012 16:24 | Good to see you holding or looking in. ic2 - I know what you mean. I bought some more DQE at 37-37.5p...the ones I traded last week for a tidy profit ;-) Rivaldo - I agree, not unreasonable for those taking profits but I felt that it had come back a little more than I'd expected and put that down purely and simply to lack of newsflow. IDG mentioned the prospects of further contract wins in the Finals and during AGM statement so I'm hopeful of some positive news emerging sooner or later. BBD - think a quite a few of us have had a decent year to-date and it's conceivable that there will be always be a few laggards. Depends on ones timeframe. I've a couple that have provided decent d/v yields as they tread water and I patiently await a rerating. Regards GHF | glasshalfull
29/3/2012 16:06 | Also a bid could come at anytime.! Look at the tiny Market cap. | tara7
29/3/2012 16:04 | Hi GHF, good to see you buying in here. I'm still here, but haven't bothered looking at the thread for a while. The posts above say it all really. The share price has had a good climb from 15p or so and presumably some have not unreasonably taken profits. I can see the price at some point being multiples of the current price given that it's a global and easily scaleable product, but for the moment the share price is flat and is news-driven as others have said. It wouldn't take much news flow to send it back up to 60p or a lot more, especially given the £6m m/cap. As you say, a trading statement is likely at any time. | rivaldo
29/3/2012 16:03 | Still on my watchlist, but traded these twice now and my timing was spot on for a change. Just got lucky really, maybe I should join you GHF on the CR thread if we start making a habit of momemtum trading :o) ic2... | interceptor2
29/3/2012 15:45 | Will not take much buying to hit 60p, that could be helped by news from the company. The stock has been in drift mode for months. | tara7
29/3/2012 15:40 | Nope, still here GHF but at a small loss now instead of a healthy profit. Had a chance to sell up in January when the share price was around 55p but was only offered 50p so declined. In hindsight maybe would have been a good idea. As you mention hopefully some news in the coming weeks. To be honest had quite good success across the board this year to spend time worrying about this. | bigbigdave
29/3/2012 15:32 | I take it all the regulars such as rivaldo, cfro, big big dave and ic2 have departed? Hoping that my top ups sub 42p have found the bottom and a trading update will be forthcoming in he next week or so, confirming that they have sustained momentum. Regards GHF | glasshalfull
27/3/2012 08:40 | Thanks Frank1e. I've also been monitoring the atmAd blog and also indicate a ramp up in campaigns. Nice roster of recent campaigns with the likes of Tesco, Carphone Warehouse, Orange, Wrigleys, Vodafone and Kellogs in the last month. Purchased a few this morning. Regards, GHF | glasshalfull |
