30/3/2017 08:28 | So RB is tweeting again but didn't answer this question posed yesterday: "Richard can you confirm that CA are selling into this rising market after you have tweeted the good news?" | cinques
30/3/2017 08:27 | Me too Terry, a right pain. I have quite a lot of HUR in my frequent traders club account and I want to sell enough for two ISA's mine and the wifes, thing is it takes a few days for funds to clear but I don't want to be out when out when the CPR is released. Plus I want to realise a capital gain for this tax year, tricky one this. BH | bloodhound

30/3/2017 08:17 | Dud, cheers mate - and congrats on the GKP short, very nicely timed!BH - exactly my thoughts too; been taking the unusual step of tax planning - never had that problem before, but HUR has introduced that particular ball-ache into my life ;) | terry hardacre

30/3/2017 07:23 | When I was growing up, "in a trice" was a common phrase used to describe something done in the blink of an eye. I haven't heard that phrase for three or four decades. Buffy | buffythebuffoon

29/3/2017 21:30 | If the price of Brent oil keeps moving as of today say, then we will not only be in the right share, but in the right sector too! | rayrac

29/3/2017 20:34 | Hopeful Holder - as you say, it is a really simple observation; and surely a wholly irrelevant one. What happens if HUR drops 10p this month? Then your 3p/month average will go down too. There might have been a time, perhaps towards the end of last year, when your average was closer to 4p or 5p / month. I've seen quite a few people get trapped into this way of thinking, and it's a distraction, and not one to be recommended. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with your, and my, investment; but one needs to stay alert if the average is to remain satisfactory. | terry hardacre |
