Kandy......no point to re post regards doc holiday......he has no substance, I listened to his vox pod cast, it's total conjecture, built on one made up peice of rubbish after another, with a few bog names thrown in and enough caveats to keep the lawers off him, but still sow some doubt. All about the little seed of doubt.

Hi HDThe rumour was mentioned on vox .Person called russ mould mentioned them .If you read lse board it will explain further.Guy there sussed it.Russ mould works for Andy bell investments who the other night posted up his email address on lse asking a fellow poster with drilling knowledge to contact him.Strange goings on as usual on Aim shares. Not sure if that makes any sense but that's where drilling problem rumours have come from.Listen to doc holiday podcast on vox and it explains all .Km

One can't help but wonder if the rumour was started by a mischievous MM who was caught inadvertently short and needed to attract a few sellers. Or even by an insti who didn't want to pay up. Whatever, there has been someone to take up any and all the sells.

No doubt we'll find out in due course.

Good post Leeson, looking forward to the next few weeks. Any dips during the day being well bought up. Encouraging! GLA

yes sheep herder.... lancaster alone is an investment proposition still at 53p.... even using ~600mmbo 2P @ ~$3/b is ~$1.8b or ~£1.45b or ~120p/share.....

now consider Lincoln (+Warwick)

and Halifax....(+adjoining Lancaster)

Whirlwind, Typhoon, and Strathmore...

Farm-in/out Lancaster to EPS ( ~20k bopd on ~$25 netbacks/b is ~$165m/annum net income allowing for 10pc downtime/maintenance) It's ~$400m capex required for the EPS, and we know HUR wont go it alone as they need big boy technical expertise, but whatever mix of the $400m is generated, on $165m/annum net income, a capex of $400m interest and partial capital payments is easily afforded with plenty of profit left all round)

Tie-back for Lincoln...

Loads of upside....

If there is no substance whatsoever in DH's musings - which I personally don't think there are - any shred of reputation and integrity will be totally blown to pieces . The piece sounded like mischief making to me.

I made it with GKP, buying below 6p. It went eventually to £4. Then I sold out on the long way down, financing new renovations on my house, eg, new Windows, doors, conservatory, kitchen and outside works to garden, patio etc.

Btw, GKP has become a buy again. But I'll leave it to others and do the biz here again! Just takes nerve...

Of course, but we want the big boys to take an interest. They'll be keener if it's mega.

Which of course it will be...have faith

Maybe a naive question, but even if the drill result on Halifax is negative, isn't there enough positives in what has already been announced to drive the price higher?

Before Lancaster result there was a big drop then positive result. People are just starting to get twitchy.
