Maita - forgive the question, but are you still holding HSBC or even monitoring this thread? Your last entry in your 'header intro' appears to be related to events of 2014 and is now out of date.

When this shareprice was £6.00 i had a target of £4.44. Having looked at the charts i can see that is has crossed under and over the £4.40. 8 times now i think the downside is now limited so the time has come to buy a few and keep doing so on any weakness

Graham,You are correct received £1386.49 in Dividends for 2015.This year with sterling averaging around 143 GBP/USD,and HSBA yielding atm just under 8%,and could be paying dividends on a average of 35.66 on 51c.I should receive appox £1.500,for 2016,if the GBP stays weaker this year against the USD.

Ok point taken grahamburn. I agree this has taken too much time on this board. I for one will get back to hsbc talk only. You have a good day. And good luck with your share dealing. Apologies to you sir

Just for the record, I did NOT say that I wouldn't send/post on a public bulletin board a financial document.

I went one step further. I said I would not disclose how many - or indeed, IF, - I owned, purchased, sold, stuffed under a mattress, shares in any company. If I did divulge such information, then it would be impossible to hide the amount I had received in dividends.

THAT is the point I was making - in addition, of course, to the one that it is pointless cluttering up a bulletin board with the type of exchange that has dominated this board in the recent past.

Proper informed debate and discussion would be preferred.

Garrycook if you are a genuine hsbc share holder and you do own 4225 shares. Prove it post your share holding on here and if you do get £1500 dividend on 4225 shares. Prove it on here post your share purchases. If you dont. Then you are a fraudAlso do the maths again. 4225 shares And you get £1500 divi. That yealds. What percentage

No can predict the prices of any share. Not even the top paid brokers. JP Morgan Cazenove have been the best, predicting and underweight HSBC from 600 to now 400,but it bottomed at 414.Certain people waiting for 380,or wanting it.Do not think it will go below 400,but who knows.Certain people dream that they buy and sell HSBC,and make a lot of money.HSBC is a good long term buy,but can also be traded.Personally I hold 4225 shares for a appox.£1500 Dividend and long term growth. All the best to genuine traders and buyers of HSBC

All I will say is that going back over the months marko has been very close to the mark with his views on this. At times taking quite a lot of flack for suggesting the share price would fall to certain levels, which it did. Of course this could be down to luck but whatever the reason he has called it correctly a few times lately.

My final comment to you garrycook is. I have looked through quite a lot of posts last night. You seem to get filtered quite a lot. You seem to rum people up the wrong way often That speaks volumes to me I have never been filtered before. Says alot doesnt it. I shall not respond to you anymore. Enjoy your trading/ share dealing / investing but please try your best not to be so rude to people. You have a nice day.
