New to this one. Is a 30% drop justified?

I suspect that NL wanted this cash route so I don't think he will bid beforehand. However it may signal to one of the other players it would be a cheap rights issue to take company pre distribution and it trades at a reasonable discount to competitors. Otherwise get a nice 50p cash can't complain.

From 10 April 07 the perice would be 100p =- (2/3 x1.50 current price).Anything above is good.

Dividend prospect seemsto be good in future.

Why do you think it will go higher? surely it will just drop the pro rata 50p after 28th march

What was the gist of the article? I see that Nick Lancaster said in Sept that London was a graveyard for car dealers, funny thing for a prospective buyer to be saying.

I cant see Colin Giltrap liquidating his share, Whatever price they bid is going to be cheap in the long run , they are shrewd operators. What is needed is for Penske to come along with a higher bid.

My previous thoughts were circa 200p, do you think that's a fair level??

There is no way that Nick Lancaster isnt going to table a bid...the group has been moulded in the last year or so to be taken private, its just an issue of what he offers...
