Average sales per account has declined 9% since 2010 and customers purchased 28% fewer cabinets per head on average. As a result the quality of Howden's sales has deteriorated in our view, putting margins under pressure. Excluding the £10m FX tailwind in 2015 margins would have been flat and we expect them to decline in CY16, as FX moves against the Group and OPEX increases.

Strong results here today. Dividend increased, more depot openings to come and a £55m cash return. Onwards and upwards imo.

market sniper3. Noted - but it CERTAINLY worked for me in 2014 !.if i were a flood victim - i am not sure i would automatically go with a catalogue just because it was presented through an insurance company though. -in most cases claimants are just given a budget and they choose who to go with for materials and fittings themselves. ( - even if the guys doing the renewal work are appointed by the Insurance companies. )

You can be sure that in many cases these "Skilled men" will be presenting a Howdens catalogue to the unfortunate victims of flooding. Howdens are very pro active in these situtions, and do gain a lot of business.

Fruitcake, YOUR WRONG, hes traded in and out and missed most of the gains.

PLUS hes picked up one hell of a fall from the top and was also going on about how flood victims would be buying Howdens Kitchens WRONG AGAIN, most of these insurance companys these days appoint there own skilled men and ask them to present a catalogue to the claimant.

Whats wrong bud , long term holder holding onto life, LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

you wide boys make me laugh.

Reckon 450p is first support. And thats generous, very generous. Very flimsy support.

@market sniper3 CR has been calling this good from 270 and 300p on his thread and all the way up. Gains of round 74% in the last 2 years respectively. Maybe you should think before posting narrow minded, short sighted and condescending comments. Just caus you can't hold a share more then a year without getting scared out of it!!

took a very simplistic view on this one after the Somerset / Berkshire floods of 2014 and bought these. did not regret it. i have done the same after the northern ones. People will be needing new kitchens. lots of em.
