17/2/2016 12:21 | A revolutionary treatment for cancer using genetic engineering announced yesterday. So far it has shown near 100% cure rate for patients suffering from dangerous forms of leukaemia.Perhaps that is what is behind todays rise? | nurdin
17/2/2016 12:04 | Who or what gave this a kick up the bum? looks like just general market improvement. :¬) | cestnous
11/2/2016 23:48 | Horizon presenting at the Biotech Capital Conference on 3rd March in London. hxxp://www.biotech-c | andya99
03/2/2016 21:21 | Hello all. First and last post here. Bought in this week and plan to nibble away over next few years if results confirm growth as expected. This technology is without doubt the future of medicine. Hopefully HZD will become one of the market leaders in this area, although clearly in every revolutionary area theyre will be plenty losers along the way. Biggest threat in this area is regulatory/media misinformation/polit | paddyspud1
03/2/2016 14:38 | Yeah, it will take a little time IMO. | deltrotter
03/2/2016 14:03 | The work of this Co is not widely understood I believe. Even heard one bulletin board contributor who thought it was an oil explorer. I guess it will take time. | cestnous
03/2/2016 13:59 | Surprised by lack of movement here with gene editing in news lately. There is hope of curing genetic blindness by scientists in using crispr-cas9. | jugu
02/2/2016 12:07 | Keynote speakers: | mirandaj
01/2/2016 16:50 | There will be more in the newspapers tomorrow | mirandaj
01/2/2016 15:44 | Looks like a no then | cestnous
01/2/2016 14:28 | Hi AndrewBaker, are there any other companies you are interested in who will benefit from the CRIPSR gene editing revolution? I haven't come across any whose stock is readily available. | kestelmill
01/2/2016 14:27 | hopefully and back over 200p soon... the newsflow and results have only gotten better since it last traded there!!! | pjj71
01/2/2016 14:23 | Will it hold above 150? | cestnous
01/2/2016 14:07 | As HZD have said, the market for this stuff is exploding.... | deltrotter
01/2/2016 14:04 | Great news for HZD and the CRISPR-Cas9 technique. This will hugely benefit Horizon, and I fully expect bio-science knowledgeable fund managers to be buying and adding to their holdings in HZD now. I'm already long, and will be adding myself very soon. Personally, I believe in gene editing as a means of helping humans with pregnancy/baby/birth and health situations, though I know that many, especially in the US, are against it; so this will be some time in the making for further advances being allowed to be used on humans, but it is an inevitability in time. HZD and other businesses in this area are worth keeping tabs on (as well as buying/holding HDZ itself); all IMHO. | andrewbaker
01/2/2016 13:05 | Embryo gene editing in news today, UK scientists have been given the go-ahead by the fertility regulator to genetically modify human embryos. Must be positive for Horizon, any views. | jugu
01/2/2016 09:10 | Nice move. Once through £1.50 this could fly :¬) | cestnous
01/2/2016 09:07 | I am sure I read somewhere (company or broker) that they would estimate actually getting 20% of the cash through and that it would be used as special dividends. Maybe someone else could confirm.... | deltrotter
01/2/2016 08:44 | Is there any evidence of what percentage of the licensee milestone money that HZD always bangs on about they actually end up getting? The sums look mouth-watering but how many of these drugs will actually make it to market? | kestelmill
01/2/2016 08:41 | There is usually a bit of uptick, or stopping of downtick, after the results. This coincides with the investor roadshows and it appears DD is reasonably good at generating some interest at these meetings. So personally I wouldn't be too confident that the only way is up. However, they were good results, weren't they! | kestelmill
30/1/2016 17:22 | Big resistance point is around the 147 mark. If we break that then we should see a solid move higher | andya99
29/1/2016 18:29 | The chart looks good here, I bought some today. The best price I could get was 148p. | andya99
29/1/2016 17:33 | Odey have sold out totally now, but others, including Neil Woodford, are still buying in. Maybe it was in fact Odey selling that caused/exacerbated the share price decline over the past 12 months. Whatever, the price has now broken through the 140p. resistance point, so will be taking on the 150p. and 160p. hurdles soon; IMHO. | andrewbaker |
