In fairness to advfn the 80p price is shown on the London Stock Exchange site so did not originate with them. I suppose it will be trumpeted as up 700% tomorrow.

I hope the price of 80p is a false one. Anyone know what that is about?

Very positive broker views.
Recent rumours of potential to buy saga or mark warner
Either would be a good move

Its very simple! And because its very simple this stock is going to make us a lot of money this year. The reason is Iraq and fears of reprisals. Its being discounted along with its sector. This is creating a fantastic buying opportunity, you may wish to take a look at parkdean as well.

I sold out of hbr a while back. i sincerely believe that the appointment of Ayling hurt them after the results and this triggered the inevitable pre Iraq sell off. When the FTSE 100 starts to turn pile into this stock!

HBR dipping below £5 for first time in months - any reason for this other than following the market down?

Just back from holiday Shuisky - I agree with your rant. Thought this was a steady, traditionally managed company, can't think why they've put in Ayling - perhaps they plan to take over BA?

At least The Motley Fool is on the ball...

"The MyTravel debacle is just another example of the competitive rivalry that exists within any industry. However Holidaybreak (LSE: HBR), the camping and mobile-home holiday specialist, today showed that the niche holiday market was still alive and well. The owner of Eurocamp posted a 14% rise in pre-tax profit to £27m on sales that rose 14% to £219m. The big travel operators need to take a leaf from Holidaybreak's holiday brochure if they are to avoid further deterioration to their businesses. Diversity of choice is what the UK consumer is calling for. More of the same will just not do and they will need to react swiftly if they are to avoid total annihilation."

Super results from Holidaybreak (Eurocamp). Eurosite acquisition savings still to show through as well. No doubt the market will digest over morning coffee-break and start buying. Should go to 650 in short term.
