19/2/2008 07:32 | Yes I'm pleased with China and now India and the Chairman said they are expanding through acquisitions..is that correct. | mitzis
19/2/2008 07:26 | Excellent results indeed. Any downturn in 2008 in Europe will be matched by profits in China and India both already on breakeven. Increased dividend says it all. | donemyhomework2

22/1/2008 20:39 | the fall seems to be greater than can be explained simply by the general market weakness. And unfortunately even if results are ok and the dividend is decent, the price might still keep on falling as smaller shares are simply being marked down every time there's a wider shock and people are generally losing their nerve. to add to the poor sentiment, I think others in their sector are experiencing weak trading so the news is all pretty bleak for this share at the moment. However, if they do keep producing the results and the divi yield is good then in theory the value should be reflected more fully in the share price - it just might take quite a long time before this happens. I've been investing 12 years now and i'm pretty sure the last 6 months or so re the markets have been the worst period ever both generally and for me personally and I've never felt less uncertain as to where or when it will all end. Yet strangely I don't feel at all panicky, just rather resigned to things, and am even beginning to enjoy looking for opportunites again - every cloud has a silver lining! | myopia
21/1/2008 21:00 | I keep telling myself that these look cheap, but they just keep on falling. I wonder if the dividend will be held. | barn owl
12/11/2007 15:14 | My best guess is that it's just a combination of the company not producing a great deal of news (one page from the ADVFN "News" link above produces nearly 2.5 years worth!), being too small for almost all institutional investors, and private investors generally being short of patience... I've taken the opportunity to do a small top-up today - might change it into a larger one, but I need to find somewhere to take the cash from first! Gengulphus | gengulphus
12/11/2007 12:29 | Any thoughts on why this has been weak over past few months other than general market influences ? I managed to pick up a few at £1.45 as I am confident that the full year should give eps of 15p minimum and probably higher so a likely fwd p/e of 7 or 8 with significant net cash feels comfortable to me | davidosh
05/11/2007 11:20 | Funny 15 minutes later they issue an RNS and provide the answer!!! | donemyhomework2
02/11/2007 15:47 | I wonder who sold the 200,000 shares back to the company. That is 4.8% of the company's shares so expect an RNS very soon!!! | donemyhomework2
02/11/2007 08:23 | Very true. But it shows the confidence in doing a buy back as opposed to a further issue of shares. It will help the share price since it will mob up any "loose" shares ( not that there were any!!) | donemyhomework2
01/11/2007 11:31 | Today's announcement about their buyback program is interesting... I don't think I've ever seen a company be quite so explicit about its buyback intentions before, saying both exactly how many shares they're willing to buy back and exactly what their price limit is! 02/8/2007 14:11 | BP, It will only be taken over when the MD wants to sell; he has a controlling stake after all. | donemyhomework2
02/8/2007 11:45 | Could well be 350p top BP... | mitzis
02/8/2007 11:43 | No it was just so cheap. Still think it will get taken over. Still holding from 85p average with 7% yield plus. I said on the MWalters site this was a boring safe stock that all should hold and forget about. 300p is my target and with a growing yield too. Still a buy. | barnetpeter |
