17/3/2017 14:48 | Drop way over done now, no real reason for it to drop below 270, quite surprised it has. | kryptonsnake
17/3/2017 14:35 | Is HOC traded elsewhere other than UK ? | pillion
17/3/2017 14:34 | Steve - thanks for the correction | charles clore
17/3/2017 14:13 | This should form a base now at this price imho | panic investor
17/3/2017 14:11 | Odr - its just a sale of stock. One off and non- dilutive but they are calling it a placing because of the scale and the way it is being handled. | charles clore
17/3/2017 14:09 | Charles. Not 40 million. Eduardo has sold 15.5 million shares apparently. If he had tried to sell in the market it would likely have taken a few weeks with an iceberg on the share price only to be explained with an RNS on completion. This placing is far better imo. | stevea171
17/3/2017 13:58 | I can't believe how some people think that Eduardo Hocschild sold a small number of his personal shares to raise money for the company. Furthermore, judging by the way the share price dropped on the news, you could easily be forgiven for thinking the sale was dilutive! I guess when the market works out that what has actually happened is merely the boss taking a well deserved cash bonus, the stock should finally fly well over 3 quidAt least now we know what has been holding this back for a while as it aint easy to sell over 40m shares without taking the price down a bit. | charles clore
17/3/2017 13:52 | No new shares are being admitted, it's just a sale of shares. No reason why we can't move above 270 in the meantime but it might anchor the share price for a few days. | kryptonsnake
17/3/2017 13:45 | Presumably it won't be released from 270p range until next Tuesday when the 'placing' shares are on the market. Topicel | topicel
17/3/2017 13:32 | Have bought more AGAIN! this is a gift at these levels. | dt1010
17/3/2017 13:15 | Thoroughly testing this 270p area as support before HOC is able to move onward. | banj
17/3/2017 13:04 | Is HOC traded elsewhere other than UK ? | pillion
17/3/2017 12:04 | Most miners moving up now. S&G looking decent. Might see a bounce this afternoon. | kryptonsnake
17/3/2017 12:03 | Good luck to him. £2.7 was not a bad price for him considering the recent volatility. I would guess the price had been fixed before yesterdays stella share performance? Onwards and upwards | fieldhouse
17/3/2017 11:44 | Eduardo took up all his rights in the past two capital raisings in the past few years to maintain his interest at 54% during difficult and high risk times for the company. These were at 150p and 47p when Inmaculada development over ran and the company had fallen into loss making. The company had to take on a lot of debt then start to de-leverage quickly. I suppose it's natural he wants some of that capital back now that the company has shown it's back to a clean bill of health and stronger than ever before .... | stevea171
17/3/2017 11:29 | Down to the placing rice ..or should I say juju's gap ;o) | onedayrodders
17/3/2017 11:24 | Seems it was written in the stars that we'd have to close that gap. | shakeypremis
17/3/2017 11:06 | edgie - It hasn't raised any capital for the company. It wasn't a placing by the company. | greenrichard
17/3/2017 10:11 | Whats goin on, my broker has frozen a lot of markets? | breaktwister
17/3/2017 10:10 | Looks a bit OTT, perhaps 190 was a 39p moment but $1150 gold was being suggested by some. Seems unlikely now. Assume this has raised more capital for co and edwardo keeping 51% so safe there. Divi reinstated too. Wonder where April 6 brings this lot for ISA season? An aeon away on the rollercoaster but seems in an up channel. N. Koreans to play up before then, if not spratlies in S. China Sea. War drums unfortunately. Agree H looks like an inverted H&S forming on chart. | edjge2
17/3/2017 10:07 | np ..either way I don't see him ever giving up his controlling interest | onedayrodders |
