Top you dude were the one who mentioned where you lived as if to prove higher knowledge.

You will see you are wrong though, when Le Penn wins.

Remember everyone is entitled to their opinion of course ;)

Maybe DT you should not worry about who lives where but research the French electoral system.

Do you think the pied noire are gonna vote for her? And since 1962 they are more numerous than original French in many areas with a basic love of France as open and welcoming...

Le Penn is a rallying point a la Monsieur Farage, but not a threat electorally for power any more than he was/is.

ODR, the coverage is not that much other than for Macron coming to London to speak with his 'constituency' who can vote that live in the UK. 700,000 of them is worth the effort, n'est pas?

He is favourite as the bookies say and he is centrist and pro-Brussels with modifications. Like Mrs May really without the tied hands!

Anyhow, as you know the MSM have had some shocks lately so just want to make it clear to anyone who cares that Le Penn is a threat not in so much as she can win but in the political clout she will have if France National gets 25-30%. That is the fear, not her becoming President but her followers needing to be heard.

Again, a bit like Mrs May's dilemma - she has to listen to the way people voted.

France is far too cosmopolitan still away from the countryside to vote in any way other than traditionally. Let's leave it to the Dutch to have a hung parliament and then the Italians for the real ructions anti-Brussels...

Does anyone know of any good boards for US stocks? I dont normally trade outside the UK but took a nibble on SLW (silver wheaton) via a spreadbet recently and have been surprised at the weakness given the strength of silver.

ODR. Yes, pretty obvious to anyone watching but they like to see confirmation coming from 'an expert' - Turk. Only then will they believe the evidence of their own eyes .... !!

steve and all .. this is a good listen which at the beginning touches on inflation beginning to take hold in the US and how 0.25 int rate rises are futile when inflation starts to soar away. Later on he picks out moments when Yellen was challenged on the job numbers and why the young are still living at home and why there productivity growth is so slow.

For those that don't follow Peter Schiff he was riduculed for years on CNBC for predicting the sub prime disaster.

Top man and I listen to every podcat as it breaks down all the noise into simple to understand facts.

IMHO

Le Pen will win. That is rubbish that it is impossible for her to win. Matters nothing if you live in France FFS. I live on the the other side of the channel lol, thankfully.

Mark these words.

Clif High: Hyper inflation coming to the US this year in the second half. The population embarks on a second gold rush harking back to 1845 in California.

The dollar is doomed. The US will have a 10-20 year period to reconstitute itself similar to what happened in Russia after the break up of the Soviet Union.

How many times Majorpain? The dollar can't rise as it would cost Trump too much in his infrastructure plans and anything else he wants to do.

He will devalue if necessary if the other nations don't revalue. If he wants to MAGA he needs manufacturing which needs a weaker dollar as they can't just sell to themselves as they have no money.

Remember the debt ceiling? Stay with the programme mate. Lol.

I live in France. It is not possible for Le Penn to win under the system here.

Trump was partially predictable as he could win using the electoral college to his advantage but, in a first last the post vote he wouldn't have won. And that was against the worst Democratic candidate ever it seems...

But if DT thinks he has an 'instinct' let him go with it. Messy though. Lol.

Yep ODR, no PM graphs showing for me either.

Any longer and chances are it will just dip from here perhaps

Well I have just topped up again with a small number. Everytime HOC has dipped over the last few days it has recovered. I am hoping that this means there is underlying strength and if we get the news that the mine is open again then perhaps, just perhaps we will head back to 300p+.

I think the anti EU parties are both nailed on to win in the Dutch and French.

Emmanuel Macron 5/4 Benoit Hamon 16/1 Francois Hollande 100/1
Marine Le Pen 2/1 Francois Bayrou 50/1 Xavier Bertrand 150/1
Francois Fillon 4/1 Jean-Luc Melenchon 80/1 Francois Asselineau 300/1
Alain Juppe 12/1

The odds had Trump at 20/1 at one stage .... they don't realise the silent majority are waiting to denounce globalisation again
