I am always very suspicious when I see some thing like - 16:20 1.12p 1 £0 Buy as it is usually coded talk between two brokers.

monty - A few years back the company was valued at over £850mln, today less than £5mln. Tomorrow??? less than one of their DVD's on Blue Cross Sale???

Earlier on in the day I saw Sells going through at exactly just 1p, therefore technically speaking the 1p level has already been reached.

Yes Branson made a profit selling Virgin Records, now no high street competition he would love HMV. Like his adverts say Live Like a Rockstar, HMV prefect.

Also to remember in the last week of Game trading in one day their shares over doubled in price, then the next day collapsed back down.

monty - Remember Richard Branson sold Virgin Record Stores in the UK to become Zavvi which in around a year went bust. IMO would not touch HMV with the proverbial barge-poll.
