|Thanks LBO, sadly no surprise there.|
|No surprises there.
Hirco Plc however is done and dusted, winding up -ve equity, lost all legal claims. AIM, hedgies, normal investors, everyone really, got properly schooled on this.|
|game not neccessarily over
"The Final Award additionally ordered HHL to pay Mr. Hiranandani ‘s legal
fees and costs in connection with the arbitration. The Final Award does not address the breach of duty claims Hirco Plc currently has pending against Mr. Hiranandani and his daughter in the Isle of Man.
Shareholders are reminded that Mr. Hiranandani, not Hirco, commenced the Singapore arbitration and that HHL had unsuccessfully moved for the Singapore arbitral proceeding to be stayed in favor of the court proceeding in the Isle of Man because that court, unlike the Arbitral Tribunal, had jurisdiction over all parties and claims. The Isle of Man court had also requested that the Arbitral Tribunal stay the arbitration in favor of a judicial determination.
The Final Award is in excess of 400 pages and is under review by the Board and our lawyers. The Board will provide shareholders with further information in due course."
Very truly yours,
|Game over, Hirco plc lost in Singapore. Costs awarded to Hiranandani
|Final arguments have been made in Singapore as of 17 November 2015. Timing for decision (which no doubt will be appealed either way) is unclear.
Hirco's opening submission is here and makes interesting reading!
|SO WHAT WILL THE CO BE WORHT IF STORY TRUE AND DOSH FOUND?|
|I have just spoken to Philip Scales who referred me to the website, (there will be no more RNS's as the company has delisted).
Litigation against the Hiranandani's is going on in the Isle of Man, and they also have an arbitration case in Singapore against them. The directors have not given up.
Regular updates on the website would be reassuring.

|I'm not so lazy as not to have tried that route.
No information for a few months on the website, and no response from the company on use of the contact form and email.
So my question stands, has anyone tried a negligible value claim with HMRC (either via tax return or form CG34)|
|Has anyone made a negligible value claim for HRCO shares in a tax return? Total radio silence from anyone & everyone concerned, assets gone from the company, cash burnt on legal fees.|
|Thanks LBO amazing....|
|Thanks LBO no talk of the missing $300m?|
|Thanks LBO please keep the news rolling in.|
|Thanks scburbs, $300 m in damages would be useful.|
|Jurisdiction of the Isle of Man courts confirmed for Hirco trial. Looks like Hirco are focussing on the original acquisition valuation for the land (acquired from Hiranandani companies) of £475m vs Hirco's contention of £160m or less.
|There is a surprise, winning bid from Hiranandani for Chennai at just above the level of debt! Over 70% below latest valuation.
"Hiranandani has emerged as the highest bidder with its Rs 600-crore bid for Hirco Chennai 158-acre township in Chennai that was auctioned by the lender Housing Development Finance Corporation in March to recover its dues. HDFC's dues stood at Rs 539.86 crore, while the reserve price for the township was set at Rs 551 crore."
