Price moving up today +12% I expect news shortly on what is going to happen in Highway after being a shell for years-something exciting on the cards that could see this multibag from today's level. As i have pointed out most shares in firm hands so only small float.Could easily double in an instant on good news.Worth a punt for a quick buck in my opinion.

JACEK ŚLOTAŁA
Investment Director CEE-Equity Partners Ltd

Over 30 years' experience in the CEE region and the driving force behind the creation of the fund.

Jacek is perhaps best-known as the person who established and managed J. Walter-Thompson-Parintex Poland - the 50/50 joint venture with WPP - for nearly 20 years. But he also led the restructuring of the first privatised sugar refinery in Poland, returning it to profitability and completing its sale to Tate & Lyle.

In addition he has been a strategic advisor to the Chairman of Daewoo Group on their business development outside Asia and he consolidated the 114 cooperatives of TU Samopomoc into Samopomoc Życie, making it, within four years, the fifth largest insurance group in Poland. Before joining CEE EP, Jacek was founder and Managing Director of Manzoil Ltd, a Polish biofuels production and distribution company.

Jacek spent nine years on the Supervisory Board of Bank Zachodni WBK, where he was responsible for brand development and external and internal communications. He has also sat on a number of other supervisory boards, including USAID and the EBRD. He is a former president of the Romanian-Polish Chamber of Commerce and an economics expert at the Adam Smith Centre.

He studied at Beverly Hills High School, USA and graduated in Law & Administration from Warsaw University. His early business successes include establishing the first private concert agency in CEE, promoting concerts across the region in the 1970s and 1980s.

Looks like we are of to the races at last with these appointments to this shell company.
These guys look like heavy hitters and I can't see them joining the company for no reason.
Action surely on the cards shortly with a share stake change I expect and injection of new business.

Few shares in free float and this could really go if any sensible deal announced.
Got to be the time to buy if ever there was one.

Highway had gone up like a rocket now its going down like one-so much excitement in a week when its been going nowhere for years-looks like all long term holders are leaving-what's next up or down ?

Well bozzy there could be more in this than what you think.
Obviously he bought the holding to increase the stake he has been accumilating for a few years to a larger level for whatever is planned for the future of Highway. This sparked an unexpected buying interest in the shares.

Maybe he then sold as you have noted to take the profit, but that does seem odd considering the time he has been accumilating.
Maybe he has not only sold at this time to take a profit but also to dampen speculation and share price hoping to buy again cheaper later.

Time will tell.

Terrific bit of trading. Looks like he added 100k at 11.75p (27/10) then managed to dump them the next day at 15.825p.

Appears the 100k became available as someone sold 113k at 11p on that day. 40 minutes later, thanks very much, let's make £4k in a day out of this opportunity!

What's the old saying - stock market is a mechanism of transferring money from the impatient to patient?

He then sold another 150k at 16.5, 17.5, 18.5, 19.5, 19.5 over next 2 days, taking advantage of traders / punters buying on manufactured hype.

Hats off Mr Fellerman. Outstanding trading.

Well share price ticking up nicely now-Fellerman was an original shareholder in Quindell when it reversed into a shell at 2p,that went to 50p plus-maybe another such deal here, that would be nice!

RNS ----Paul Felleman (stockbroker)increases his stake again today, is something about to happen,I hope so I have been hanging on for a few years now in this listed shell.
Highway has 3 large shareholders, has a very small free float, now probably only around 15%.
I'm hopeful a deal may not be far away and any good news would send the share price materially higher.
In my view-at today's price it's a BUY, if you can get some !.

Well that's better than a lot of shares on these boards. What you might call steady progress, might double by the time I'm in my box.
But then again could double overnight !

Loobrush,

At least you have the consolation of being in profit.

A rise of a third in the near ten year period since you started this thread, up from 12p to 16p.

I think it is a record for a shell-lets hope the wait is worth it.
I know one of the shareholders, Paul Fellerman, who is an astute fellow and he advised me to hang on. I have, but now its only by the fingertips.
However best not to sell as something is then bound to happen as soon as I do.

Been very patient here but 1 million shares changed hands (12% 0f company) today and a general meeting being called enable borrowings to increase. Is a deal on the cards at last. With about 80% of shares tied up any deal would certainly shift the shares upward.
Announcement on shareholding should appear anytime.

See today's RNS

Paul Fellerman increases his holding to over 11 %

Shares in this shell have been creeping up recently, very small float in the share as two holders also have nearly 30% each.
Fellerman was involved in Quindell in the early days at 2p so definitely one to follow.

Is the long awaited shell deal about to happen if so hold onto your hat..

From last accounts for your info--
"In May 2013, the company issued a circular containing proposals to transfer the listing of the ordinary shares from the premium segment to the standard segment of the Official List and these proposals became effective on 11 July 2013. As a result, the company will have greater flexibility to raise new capital and effect transactions with lower attendant costs."

Price up again today-someone is in the know!

One practical problem:

If HWC is Fully Listed, as I believe it is, it will cost an arm and a leg to get any expansion deal through the regulators.

Just had a look at share chart for last 5 years-if it breaks through 21p it would be at all time high and that must mean something ,but what ?

Yes loobrush, one bonus is that Fellerman knows from his decades of experience as a broker that issuing shares like confetti is not the way forward.

Been in this company for ages, however maybe its about to stir.
Recent board changes, Paul Fellerman increasing his stake over 10%, price rising all in the last month or two.
Maybe the very long awaited shell deal will be announced, if so with the minute share float available this would rocket.
Fingers crossed !
