14/6/2007 07:20 | breakout mode now... | gswredland
14/6/2007 05:54 | Stegrego They floated Running River(runp) on PLUS in mid may this year. Paul | paulieb
14/6/2007 05:42 | Tadtech I agree but they don't need any money they have a big cash pile, I think last time it was market makers pleading because they had short books. This time I don't think the company will bail them out again. This stock just looks mispriced based on the progress they are making and should certaily be trading above the £5 level now. Mind you this is the first forecast I have come across nobody seems to cover them. I will be topping up when the market opens. | czar
13/6/2007 23:48 | My guess is that the rise in HICH today was in sympathy with JIM. JIM produced a bullish RNS which the market liked and suggested a much increased dividend and expects decent profits. My only (minor) issue here is that HICH seem to want to quash any strong rise in their shares by placing more for liquidity purposes. They have done it twice now, the last time stopped a rally dead in its tracks. | tadtech
13/6/2007 22:09 | Ah ok thanks... Just reading their website again... Have they actually done any floats since Sept 06? It appears not from the website. | stegrego
13/6/2007 21:41 | Got it from my broker, its in Quantum Leap. | czar
13/6/2007 21:13 | czar - is that info online? Or what was your source? | stegrego
13/6/2007 21:10 | Found out what the excitement is all about, HICH in an interview says expects to double profits this year and then double again next - what pe for a business growing at 100% pa. Also they took options when they floated XG Group which has moved up to a £1.5billion market cap and HICH options are worth £7.5m!!! Lets forget about the £7.5m from XG, lets forget about the growing cash pile, this year £6m profits and next £12m, pe of 15x (must be more like 25x if these numbers come through) gives £126m market cap after full tax charge and a price of £8.29. This stock is going to fly. | czar
13/6/2007 20:07 | i understand that 3m is the min already for the first half............ | saraho
13/6/2007 11:17 | exactly..great stuff! | gswredland
13/6/2007 10:45 | Looks like some news about for it to move like this in a weak market. CR | cockneyrebel
13/6/2007 10:42 | Still over two weeks away from a trading statement so why the sudden pick up today, any news out there? | czar
11/6/2007 20:58 | Plenty of talk about HICH making £6m profit this year, that means we need something around £2m to £2.3m for the first half. I won't be jumping in until the trading statement which should be out early next month. If the £6m looks right they are worth a fiver for now and probably more depending on the expectation for 2008. Any ideas anybody? | czar
29/5/2007 11:35 | This could be about to move north again as the chart slowly reverses the recent profit taking. Too cheap still compared to peers. | tadtech
24/5/2007 09:18 | I agree that the company should not issue shares because of stock shortage. However its unlikely IMO they will do this again. The valuation is still reasonably low so the target of 425/450 remains in place. My guess is that with so much merger activity ongoing the company could well beat last years growth figure. | tadtech
24/5/2007 08:07 | Nice rebound. Everyone gonna calm down now? :-) | jakleeds
24/5/2007 07:49 | First real dip so grabbed a few more. | bigbigdave
24/5/2007 07:49 | nurdin nothing wrong at the company I'm very comfortable but you issue market makers stock at under the market price and they just sell it down to that price, they have no loyalty to any company or any person, that's not wrong its just what they do. The company was very naive in issuing the stock the result was so predictable. The shares will recover but only when the mm's have cleared that stock and they are short again. One thing for sure that is the last time the company will let them have any stock!!!!!!!!!!! | czar
24/5/2007 07:39 | The company has already said they are on track to achieve similiar growth this year to last years 100%.They did £3m pretax...which suggests £6m this year. The company confirmed that to me yesterday..again. | nurdin
24/5/2007 07:29 | 345p bid by 8.28am these market makers have excelled themselves!!! Don't buy yet just wait until they offer stock at 345p, they will soon. | czar
24/5/2007 07:23 | Definately done a favour for their broker chums here... | stegrego
23/5/2007 21:04 | Who's driving the price up then? Just 62K buys by little guys today, 79K buys. So it looks like a big buyer imo. These couldn't be in for a bid already could they? The oldest stock broker on the LSE, would make a nice trophy for the like of Collins Stewart or one of the other big guys. Might be easier to acquire now it's listed. Also it doesn't seem tightly held: A R Wilson 9.943371% 15-05-2007 Eaglet Investment Trust PLC 7.636223% 19-03-2007 B Rowbotham 4.744746% 28-11-2006 Channel Hotels & Properties Ltd 4.330446% 15-05-2007 So about 75% in the hands of smaller holders - yet they are not selling even after this rise. Seems like they see the valuation too low too imo. CR | cockneyrebel
23/5/2007 20:58 | Looks like the MMs are feeding them lines to me :) Cant see whats artificial about having no stock - its 'real' that people are buying and no one is selling.... It shouldnt cause a spike, just a re-rating to a higher level Still, shouldnt moan, as all the extra cash for the company will come in handy no doubt. | stegrego
23/5/2007 20:57 | Thanks nurdin. | chester |
