23/11/2003 13:02 | Still cant get why someone would wish to buy 50K at 82p if its going down. Maybe I need to see a shrink pronto ? | hvs
21/11/2003 09:25 | so what happens when someone sells 50,000 does that mean its going down again? | pictureframe
21/11/2003 07:16 | is that how it works then ? | sugarbeast
20/11/2003 20:52 | Why would anyone buy 50,000 at 82p ??? Why , cause its going up. true value 150p at least. | hvs
18/11/2003 13:33 | think its just at that point where the bad news to date is factored in, but there are no new buyers prepared to take the risk so it may just continue its walk back down. IMHO Peterhouse looks a safer recovery play than this based on the balance sheet | pictureframe
18/11/2003 13:13 | if a new ceo is announced, this may be seen as a recovery play, but its looks rudderless at the moment, imo. | sugarbeast
18/11/2003 09:10 | Is it all wishful "thinking" ? | hvs
18/11/2003 08:27 | going down today hvs | pictureframe
17/11/2003 14:22 | We shall see, wonder why its going up though ? | hvs
17/11/2003 14:20 | still watching still overpriced, I said after warning there will be dilution to stay alive and I stil believe that. Give it a couple of months and we shall see | pictureframe
17/11/2003 14:17 | hvs knockers are still around 83p is alot closer to my valuation of 55-65p range than your 1.40 ramping price I do not hold in this stock and hope for all holders that it returns to 1.40 | johnwalton
17/11/2003 08:56 | Where is all the KNOCKERS ????? | hvs
16/11/2003 13:16 | Are we looking at 50 p or is it 20p now ??? | hvs
09/11/2003 22:24 | Why is it going up ? Posters here think fair value anything below 50p. Or are they talking rubbish yet again. | hvs
05/11/2003 19:30 | Exactly, we shall see. | hvs
05/11/2003 19:21 | Difficult to know what will happen now. Why did chairman go? Beware net asset value figure Intangible assets...goodwill .. £54 million .. but is it worth anything?? The pension deficit as of 31.12.02 was £25 million but not included in liabilities in the balance sheet Almost all bank Debt ( £53 million) is meant to be repaid in this year The now announced £25million hit is more than the past three years profits. The disposal of the Big US ( £100m+ Turnover) operation for £30+ million cash this will have the effect of reducing fixed assets but we don't know by how much) it may also reduce stocks and creditors ... of course it had the effect of bringing in cash .. But probably already almost half that cash has gone or will go. In the write down announced a £12 million cash cost was seen .. that combined with trading losses of another £1-2 million will reduce cash by £13-14 million Net assets at 30.06.03 were £106million Take away the Intangible assets £54 million Leaves £52 Million Take away the just announced £25 million hit and you are down to £29 Million Take away the Pension Fund deficit ( and I am not sure that the company is liable or not but if they are you are down to £4m) So what is the real net asset value??? If you add back £20 Million for the disposal of the US Company i.e. the Company got £30 million for only £10 million of assets as stated in the balance sheet you are then at net asset value of about £20- 40 million I cannot guarantee these sums but they look about right There approximately 80 million shares so net assets per share range from 27p to 54p Remembering that of the £70 million of tangible assets £23 million is property making the rest plant and equipment? I think that The Company will need additional banking facilities or may have to make a rights issue if it is to survive ... or some might buy it Cash at Bank after sale of Creation £30 million Less reorganization charge and trading losses £13 million. Gives remaining cash of £17 million Loans due to be repaid £53 million Shortfall £36 Million How will this be funded? Bank will lend against properties £23m say at 70% = £16 Milllion As for the rest it might be a struggle... we will see | merchantadventurer
05/11/2003 09:55 | I don't hold this stock, but putting price targets of 50p is just pure speculation. When a stock goes down RAMPERS come out in force - best to do your own thing. I have no idea where the stock is going from here! | wipo1
