10/1/2013 09:57 | 398 NAV RNS out so still 20 p plus to come | jaws6
08/1/2013 10:11 | That crazy pullback provided a nice opportunity | badtime
08/1/2013 09:47 | another tick up again | jaws6
08/1/2013 09:26 | Sky got that if you want to remove | badtime
08/1/2013 08:50 | Ah thanks Alan..slightly different to me than...78% on settled position. Sky yes please as would be useful for future reference..here until 10 GMT ..then off to prune some conifers | badtime
08/1/2013 07:58 | BT - don't know why you aren't able to get through to Alan. Do you want to email me yr email address & I'll pass it on to Alan? If so, then I'll put up my email address for a while - let me know when you've got it... All sounds a bit complicated though! | skyship
08/1/2013 07:50 | Email not received I am afraid BT. I did get 89% on the settled shares and 79% on the unsettled. | alanji
07/1/2013 18:39 | I was supposed to have had a communication from their senior management team today...needless to say nothing transpired....my point was that if as has been seen from here other people got 89% from the same broker then why havent you or i received that percentage on our 'settled' portion of the holding? In respect of HPEQ i'm not currently bothered..but to me its the principal for future tender offers. I did send u a email this morning re above | badtime
07/1/2013 17:27 | bt - depends on how the broker (nominee co) applies for the tender. Neither they nor I could work out how someone gets 100% If you ever mange to email or PM me I might (and it is only might) be able to explain how allocation is worked out. | alanji
07/1/2013 15:17 | Another tick up to 372 ? | jaws6
07/1/2013 12:38 | Alan ..how does that explain why you wouldn't have had more on the 'settled' part? | badtime
07/1/2013 12:13 | Just received an explanation from Sippdeal for the reason I did not get as many shares tendered as I expected. Part of my allocation was unsettled (despite buying early November) so only qualified for the basic 78.8% as opposed to the enhanced 89.4% for settled shares They are going to review how they handle tenders generally with a view to improving allocations. | alanji
07/1/2013 10:07 | Yes, good to see a tighter spread. Obviously little stock to be had. Perhaps Tilts bidding it up behind the scenes... | skyship
07/1/2013 09:57 | Nice short spread | badtime
04/1/2013 17:31 | Alan just seen your PM ...will try again laterAll these rns's...I keep thinking it might be the end game...unfortunately not yet | badtime
03/1/2013 13:48 | They have been f'ing about with the two accounts (I manage one for a friend) all morning. Mine is wrong again I have given in and emailed higher up - had not done so previously. EDIT forgot to add I sent anotherPM | alanji
03/1/2013 10:00 | WB Alan....always pays to know people in high places...wish i did at sippdeal. Re the counterparty bit I'm in same boat...but apparently they are going to sort mine out today from there 'errors account'...i was allocated at 78% and currently waiting for an explanation as to why others with the same broker have got more PS i did email..but we dont seem to hav had any joy that way | badtime
03/1/2013 08:11 | Sippdeal now showing correct number of shares in account at 89.4% allocation - additional cash not yet credited though. EDIT not yet on the other account I manage. | alanji
03/1/2013 07:56 | Alan - Those gardens at Buck House are a worthy testament to BT's skills. You'll have to join the queue as he is after his own honour for Horticultural Services... Glad your Dublin trip went well, other than the sore head of course. Looking forward to your 2012 reprise over on the new JDT thread - you must surely have scooped the laurels with your more than 30% rise. | skyship
03/1/2013 07:36 | Catching up after a great Hogmanay in Dublin and A Happy New Year to all on here. Yep, Sippdeal definitely in chaos. Message yesterday to say they were waiting to hear from the counterparty for the unsettled proportion of my holding - my last pre-tender buy was 9 November - obviously takes a long time to settle these days! I'm mightily impressed badtime - didn't know you were able to phone the Queen! maybe you could put in a word for me for a K! | alanji
02/1/2013 08:36 | small tick up again today | jaws6
31/12/2012 12:33 | i'm beginning to lose confidence in sippdeals admin abilities....my holdings in this company have been altered so many times and the dept who deals with corporate actions seems harder to get hold of than the Queen | badtime
27/12/2012 18:32 | Yes, Sky - amazing to look back - with hindsight we'd all be millionaires, Rodney. - Lol !! Had my own succesess and failures in punts but now find more satisfaction in finding shares where the downside is limited - as in SL/ PE. Trying to emulate your asset allocation, but my pension income isn't sufficient so need Div income to supplement (Like RECi which I got into @ 93p after relentless badgering by you - Lol !! - thank you very much.) So allocation is approx 50% to div - PCTN, RECI, SREI, RUSP. But had a lot of satisfaction from HPEQ which I first bought @ 313p - after rec from you. Have recycled some funds back into it. And just bought into JPEL today. Over New Year holiday you may like to research a company called IOF - Iofina. Has a very interesting position in the niche market of Iodine - surprising amount of uses, some of which are unique and can't be replicated. But what is also very interesting is their water rights - which could be a massive earner due to the fracking boom in America. Amazing amount of research contained in the header, and especially from poster SuperG1 , and BB is one of the best on ADVN. I would be interested in your views on IOF if you decide to take a look. I hold shares in IOF at av of 66p - so very happy with progress so far !! So Happy New Year to all - please keep posting your views & rationale, so that us less savvy individuals can also prosper. | eeza
27/12/2012 17:43 | Still only part settled re my tender at Sippdeal | badtime |
