getting hit here a bit, bought a chunk of TW. on a short term trade as its been hit even harder, might even take some more. these dips are a bastad to watch if holding stock long term, but do provide the short term opps. Gotta take the rough with the smooth.

morning, currently pre-6:00 am here, having trouble adjusting, takes a few days. Iraq worries weighing on afr, moni down a touch too, HGG looking quite resilient at the mo :-)

Cheers will be back on 27th, might sell a few bits and pieces today just because I won't be able to watch the mkts, and if they do have a major wobble while I'm gone I wanna be around to play the next hand so to speak when I get back. Won't be selling HGG, ADN or JUP though, might lighten up on BWY and TW. and sell my CNKS. can always buy back when I get back...

The wave counts on the daily chart are just a guess and probably wrong, I wouldn't go by them, was just attempting the exercise. Enami Would have a more a precise count if you want one.

WEEKLY

SP above the weekly CP, MACD turning +ve, looks healthy, dow resistance lines drawn too.



DAILY

Still a while to go before RSI overbought, MACD peak on higher vol, looks healthy on the daily.



Might see a slight pullback but id like to see it go a bit higher first, i.e past 260.

I'll have a look tomorrow morning mate, busy tonight and off to Canada for a few weeks on Tuesday, so limited opps for homework at the mo. I am generally bullish on these though.

looking bullish eh! i think we'l be up towards recent high of ~275p in quick time. perhaps by end of next week. imo we'll hit ~265p this week.

famous last words lol. but the chart does look great.

hows your chart signalling system looking in terms of being above CP but spiked on the macd daily !?

this is it mate.. imo, when tis ~275p, it'l be a ~3p spread and miuch higher daily avgvols, which ill neeed to flog my stock/! lol

if there are LSE bids, then theyre UT'd at 11am and 3pm each day... thats the only times theres an auction of sets style.

Could do 225 initially I'm thinking, then possibly goes quiet before another run up, that stock is MM only isn't it? I.e not SETS?

Cheers for mentioning cnks, I'm lucky I bought when I did, I saw it had already gone up a bit and decided not to wait, otherwise I'd have been buying at 215. Looks good, small cap, but won a nice deal, hope the AA float goes through ok so they maximise their earning on that deal. I only put £1k on it, but sat on 10% profit already, can't remember the last time that happened to me...

Nice here today too. Unless I spread bet, HMRC have got me all ends up on divi's and capital gains, but I hold some in ISA which is CGT free. And I have to pay stamp duty on non-AIM UK stocks too when I buy. I have the comfort of knowing my trading taxes are included in UK GDP forecasts lol

yeah i think this go well re longer term, but im just looking for ~10pc back to top... this pays a good divi though!

thing is, i have to pay tax on divi income, but no tax on capital appreciation, so i always tend to look for the Sp rise rather than the comfort of a divi - just means paper work! lol

Aye, this ones a longer term hold for me, I'm pretty confident growth will continue. Good figures in August could set it up for a strong end to 2014. But, that's assuming macro stuff 'plays ball', as usual lol. I've set up in a similar fashion on ADN and JUP. Everything else is 'see how we go' :-)

If that uptrend resumes this will be an easy hold imo

Slowly regaining lost ground. JUP flying today and ADN hopefully will hold above 450. BWY getting going too. Good so far...
