06/1/2017 14:27 | Too big a discount here now... | nimbo1
21/12/2016 11:54 | Bought some more today, trade doesn't show up of course. Looking at 5 year record, there have been 12 month gains of 50% and 70% in the recent past and this year the NAV is up while the share price is 10% down. At a discount of over 20% this could be very well placed for a rally IMO. | mad foetus
07/10/2016 19:31 | Ooops just noticed you been waiting 8 years for me to reply. Better late than never, huh. | racg
07/10/2016 19:30 | Nice enough concept but all the schemes I ve seen have guarantees from entities with no covenant strength, opaque charges and are illiquid tertiary properties. If you were buying a hotel, I d be far more positive but buying a room, is a hiding onto nothing imho. | racg
04/10/2016 12:51 | Had a quick look at some of their top 10 holdings and most are again well ahead today. Then again just about everything is well ahead atm. | essentialinvestor
04/10/2016 12:44 | Took some too | my retirement fund
04/10/2016 12:23 | HSL a similar Henderson trust is flying. | mozy123
04/10/2016 08:31 | Joined you guys, and hopefully girls, this morning. | essentialinvestor
03/10/2016 20:30 | The ongoing charge figure appears high, if I am loking at the correct number. | essentialinvestor
03/10/2016 19:43 | Mmmm, am tempted too. But have enough of a lump as it is. | racg
03/10/2016 12:38 | I've bought in today, and despite the quoted 800/830 spread I paid 810.32p just now (not reported yet, typical HL).Anyway, the NAV has outperformed its benchmarks, the U.K. all companies, for each of the last 5 years. The NAV over the last 12 months is up 3.3%. The share price is down 14.7%. Now at a discount of 20%, which is daft. Happy to buy more if the discount stays here. | mad foetus
27/9/2016 07:18 | Yes - thinking of topping up again at these levels | 18bt
26/9/2016 20:32 | Hefty discount and what I thought was a manager of repute. So, why so quiet a thread? Spreads somewhat nasty, I suppose. | racg
06/8/2014 10:25 | Have sold 25% of my holdings in these through 2 trades as they've had a very good run and now stand close to NAV. Suspect that the discount may widen slightly as the markets get choppier | 18bt
11/6/2014 09:29 | Back to normal now? | bigwilly1986
11/6/2014 08:52 | Very odd trading today - one small AT deal at 866p - by mistake, possibly? | huttonr
14/5/2014 13:56 | Is something going on yesterday/today? | bigwilly1986
12/2/2014 16:02 | 127tolmers Thanks for the reminder re the discount - I'd been keeping an eye on this but had neglected it during the last few weeks. Sold out as well. Also noted that their 2 biggest investments - Hyder has just issued a profit warning and Retroscreen seems to have flattened out (fully priced, perhaps?) | huttonr
11/2/2014 09:20 | This one has had a good run over the last 12 months up 50% but discount is now too small so yesterday was time to get out for a bit. | 127tolmers
03/9/2013 09:42 | I see the discount is now down to about 14% - this decline has been a major contributor to the share price rise, but it can't contribute much more - my guess is that it should flatten out at the 10 to 12% discount level. However, the NAV is still rising nicely and noises about the economy are getting better, so perhaps 800p by Christmas - or am I being too optomistic? | huttonr
05/8/2013 20:30 | Yes, looking great. Henderson is a top-drawer manager. This investment trust has been overlooked! | topvest
05/8/2013 16:44 | This looks to have had a good run in NAV and still a high discount - and the portfolio looks very interesting - so I've had a dabble today. | huttonr
04/4/2013 10:04 | am looking at this one along with mercantile and schroders uk mid cap. any views on these? | harry the haddock
08/2/2013 07:54 | Good set of results today. | topvest |
