|sagarn: Agreed melody. Discount wasn't massive which is reassuring and doesn't seem they had any trouble placing that amount of shares pretty damn quickly which evidences strong demand. So I'm happy to hold for more gains too. Placing also gives the share price some good support. Share price will settle again soon enough just like it did after the placing last year and will continue to rise.|
|kenmitch: Don't see why the price paid should put a floor under the price. e.g if there are a lot of spread bet stop losses hit if the share price goes a bit lower which would then send the share price lower. Looks good value after the fall today though. If it goes any lower tempted to top up.|
|lunarjim: agree. Just to recap:
The next FTSE 250 reshuffle is due on 11 sept based on market cap of firms at cob 10 sept. in order to get into the 250, a firm has to have a market cap that puts it in the top 325 firms. at cob friday 23 august, that meant a market cap of £590m. hellermann's current market cap is c£581m so in order to cross the £590m threshold, the share price only needs to go up another 5p to £2.74. a good set of results this week should do that and then the share is on buy list for those unit trusts following the index. i reckon thats why schroders has been buying it up - their FTSE250 unit trust must reckon its a cert and is getting in early.
roll on thursday!|
|rolo7: Dont think hty made it today, think gnc beat them to fste 250, sdp dropped out fste 250? If hty had finished at 240p which it should off as those were the last trades of the day (but not before 435pmish) and not 235p, would of made it. How can you have buys at 240p and share price ending lower, must of been late repoted trades strange one.|
|bingaxu: So if the share price rises to 346p before June 12th, hty should get into ftse 250. It's not impossible.|
|ricky46: Ponyten I've been thinking of a target price myself...a year or so ago this Company if I remember right was trying to arrange a sale of around £800 million.
With the Market cap at £517 Million at present if we said we think it should be valued at say £700 million that would lift the share price by around 35% from here which in turn would give us a share price of £3.20 to £3.30 ish.
If we get into Ftse250 in June I think this will easily get to £2.80/£3.00 fairly quick. So that's my target for now. Just my opinion though.|
|ponyten: Im quite excited by this company, and for once I managed to get in nice and low before the rise. I am however stuggling to come up with a target price, although I always just tend to go with the flow. Has anyone got a longer term share price target in mind out of interest?|
|rolo7: ims on friday i think may move the price not sure if this has got enough of a free float/number of shares traded to make fste 250 but we will see, any mention of plans for a divi will move share price upwards.|
|ricky46: Just checked the ftse rankings and I reckon the share price needs to rise a bit to get us in the 250|
