We are approx. £2 a share below NAV, given HB's longer term record and quality of the BOD, this looks decent risk/reward IMV, unless a severe recession is around the corner.

Would someone please explain to an old timer what :) means ! I assume it's a negative view of the company at the current price. And certainly the London focus may be a concern relative to similar companies with greater activity outside London. However I think Speedsgh has flagged up an interesting approach via the bonds.

Have taken the alternative route to exposure to Helical + picked up some of the 6% 2020 bonds (HB20) at 101.5p today. Will hopefully provide a steady income over next 4yrs.
